Ziggy,
Please give him the Viking's head coach spot and send Childress down the road.

I agree with Nick. Give the coordinator a chance and let "Chili" move. We a long history of great men leaving us and ending up on superbowl teams as coaches. Lets change that history now.

Why would Mr. Woods be considered for the DC position. Minnesota ALWAYS has crappy pass defense, it's almost like Richard Soloman never left! Hire outside for the DC position because line and linebackers are solid, you don't want to mess with that, and get rid of the defensive backs coach and bring someone in who can do the job.

The Wonderlic Personnel test scores, which measure aptitude for learning, for the first five quarterbacks picked in the 2006 NFL draft were Matt Leinart, 35; Jay Cutler, 26; Kellen Clemens, 26; Tarvaris Jackson, 19; and Vince Young, 16. Only Cutler among the group has performed better than Jackson the first three seasons. The Wonderlic test is a 12-minute, 50-question test used to assess the aptitude of prospective employees in a wide range of occupations. The score reflects the number of correct answers given in the allotted time. A score of 20 is intended to indicate average intelligence.

...but I hope you don't get the job for selfish reasons. You've done a fantastic job coaching the Vikings defense, and I want you to continue to do a fantastic job. I remember liking Tomlin alot also and during his interviews everyone said he was a longshot to get a head coaching job so I wasn't worried, and just like that he was gone. I guess I don't like when we lose good coaches. I already miss Roof.

Keep T-Jack as the starter and give Childress one more year to get a Superbowl appearance. At the very least an appearance in the SB. A victory is better still, but a appearance for sure.

That's the best coach we have for the team. Maybe he should be head coach for the Vikings - man i hope they can keep him. We may as well kiss our team good-bye if we lose this guy.

What good would receivers who can seperate do, when T-jack was 5 yards off all day. Dungy, Tomlin and now Frazier. We have the coaches we just need a brave owner to pull the trigger.

It's amazing how many fans acknowledge how important consistency at Defensive Coordinator is, but fail to factor it in when they look at the Vikings. Thankfully, Zigi Wilf has the good sense to appreciate a Head Coach who lead his team to a Division Championship in spite of losing a top notch Defensive Coordinator, and several key players.

Let's see, the Vikes lost Tomlin and there's an excellent chance Pittsburgh will be in the Super Bowl. Dungy and Billick left and won Super Bowls. Is any Viking owner ever going to wise up? KEEP Frazier, DUMP Klink!!!

Minnesota had a defensive coordinator, who now coaches the Steelers, who is on the brink of taking his team to the Super Bowl. When you look at this situation, do the Steelers have better players or did Minnesota let go of the wrong coach. Again, another defensive coordinator will probably leave the Vikings, could this be another coach that the Vikings need to hold on to and let the current head coach go?
