First of all, I'm not a DC fan, I'm a football fan (for what it's worth, if I had to choose a school, I'd say that I'm a SW fan). Secondly, the DC coach may have called timeout to score a touchdown that was meaningless in that particular game, but it had meaning to his squad. He was telling them that we will fight to the end...and he did so without rubbing the nose of the opponent in anything. After all, he was LOSING, and sending HIS team a message. Littlestown had the game won and rubbed salt into the wounds of an already defeated opponent. THAT IS A BIG DIFFERENCE.
And don't tell me about a punter making "the mistake". Do you really want to blame a kid? Wow! The fact of the matter is that the coach is responsible for the actions of his kids. If the punter made a decision to run with the ball and it was contrary to the coach's wishes, well guess what...the coach is still responsinble for not instilling the discipline necessary to have the punter refrain from doing such a thing. The punter is also the QB. Did the coach sit him at the beginning of the next game...did he discipline him at all. I didn't think so...becasue he's afraid to diss his best player and maybe even lose a game because of it (horror of horrors.)
You need to give it a rest and forget the past, it's over ande Delone lost!! Lippy didn't call for a fake punt and we are tired of saying it. High school boys make mistakes and you have to live with it. When a game is out of reach and no way of winning, just play the game, there is no reason to call a timeout with 8 seconds to go to make a point, HELL they scored the last 2 touchdowns the 2nd string defense. What point does that make. Hey we can't score on the 1st team so let's score all we can on the 2nd team.....LOL that is real classy, that shows me nothing, he just didn't want the score to look asw bad as the game really was. Delone got their asses kicked and it sure was worse then the score!!!!!!

Did the "classy" Littlestown coach try a fake punt in the waning moments of a game in which he was winning by 23 points, like he did against Delone. That's what I thought.

Let me say this again!! You got beat by York Catholic back in week 2 and you actually think you have a real chance at beating the Bolts after they just blew York Catholic away friday night. Well time to wake up and smell the coffee. You should worry about one game at a time and not think you are better then everyone else. That's how the bolts are getting it done, one game at a time and not looking ahead to another week.

Delone absolutely got their asses kicked...and it certainly was worse than the score indicated. I never said otherwise. And yes, DC scored against the 2nd team defense...which wasn't inserted into the game until well after the fake punt...which means to say that they weren't inserted into the game as early as they should've been in such a lopsided game. And that was just one more classless move by the Bolts...along with the fake punt. It's just a shame that you can't be objective enough to see both sides of the coin. Bolts destroyed DC...flip side: Bolts lacked class in doing so.

You said, "High school boys make mistakes and you have to live with it"...and that is EXACTLY my point. You L'town fans are unwilling to "live with" the fact that your team pulled a classless trick play in an already decided contest. It doesn't matter if it was a mistake or not....you did it, so live with it. On a side note, just as you are (rightly) calling out the YC coach for his comments, I never once saw the Bolts coach make comments in the paper about the "mistaken" fake punt. He could've said "my apologies to our opponent, but the punter and I got our signals crossed...it shouldn't have happened" or something along those lines. But he NEVER made any comments toward the DC coaches and team, now did he. We are only left conclude that he either called the play or at least agreed with it.

letting you know the paper was wrong, Laucks and Full are not done...did not have season ending injuries...they're coming back...the paper should stick to reporting and not speculating. And had they been in the game Friday night, Lippy knows it would have been a different ending, for sure!

Just a quick question...how old are you people? I am sure you are all "adults", so let's act like it. Nobody likes to be on the losing side, but come on....So this year is so far the Bolts year, let the kids have the glory, next year it may be Delone or Bermudian's year, or anyone elses for that fact. If everyone on here was truly an adult, they would be congratulating the bolts on a job well done so far, and suporting the other kids. I am sure that there is not one kid out there playing that is not giving it their all. So,good job Bolts on a fantastic season so far, and good luck to all of the other teams. May the best team win. Oh, and wouldn't it be nice to bring a district title back to the York/Adams Area? Regardless of the local team that does it?

I agree with you justaquestion, maybe real eagle and classless Bolts should read your comment and agree also. These are high school kids and mistakes happen. Ltown is by far the better team this year so far. They keep beating teams every week like they have been you will have to give credit where it is due.

real eagle I can tell you aren't grown up by your comment in here calling names, sit back and think before you write next time.

Agree with above reactions. While YC clearly didn't help themselves with 4 turnovers and losing two of our best players changed the game after their injuries, Littlestown won the game and deserves the credit. It's certainly not an excuse for making comments like that after a game. It certainly isn't the sportsmanship we teach our kids. Littlestown has a nice team and congrats to your kids - good luck with the rest of the season and in the playoffs.
Thank you! THIS is what sportsmanship looks like!

Let's recap....we've all seen how you have a problem with Delone fans. And you've said that you have a problem with Hanover fans. Not to mention that you told us that you have a problem with New Oxford fans. You've said that you hate Biglerville fans. You told us that you have deliberately sabotaged your fellow employees, and jeopardized their safety. And now you claim to have been in fights with L'town fans.

Hmmmm....did you ever consider that the problem might be YOU?
