"Berrian isn't going to make headlines with criticisms and demands."

This from a story with the headline: "Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Bernard Berrian would like to see more plays coming his way."

Can you spell "irony"?

The only time that happens is if the coach retires. Like Tomlin lucked into at Pittsburgh.

Seriously, people? Like they are going to fire the head coach and promote the D-coordinator after making the playoffs? I'm not all that impressed with Frazier. I think it comes down to the talent we have on D. They ranked very high in the league even before Frazier and Tomlin. Always bad against the pass which hasn't changed all that much other than adding Mullet Man who probably moved us up from 24th in the league to 18th by himself. I don't honestly think our DB's are good enough. Winfield is good, not great against the pass. Sharper is horrible. Griffin is bad and Napo Harris is going to kill us this weekend because he is slow and he will have to match up against Westbrook. Eagles will throw for 350+ and run for 50.

Detroit is interviewing him because of the Rooney rule. Detroit is not going to jump the gun. They will wait and see if the Dolphins get sold. If so, they will go after Parcells for GM, cuz he already said he's interested. I think they'd have to fight the Jets if that happened. Parcells has also said he is going to endorse Mike Tice for a HC position. Hmmmmmmmmmmm..........

Anyways, if Frazier goes anywhere, my money is on Denver. I think they want a defensive minded coach. I also think Rex Ryan gets a HC gig too.

If Frazier does leave and Brad doesn't stay within the org. to fill his spot, and I hate to say this, but with his Tampa 2 experience, it could be filled with..........

Rod Marinelli

I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I take back everything I said.

Hmmm...Tice, Tomlin, and now Frazier? Maybe Ziggy should let Chiller interview with Detroit and offer Frazier the head coaching job for the Vikes before we're stuck with Chiller for another year of agony. Afterall, it was Frazier that reportedly nudged Chiller, urging him to "do something" as the clock was running out last Sunday in a game that was to determine whether the Vikings would actually make the playoffs. Later, a detached Chiller was quoted as saying, "I wish THEY hadn't wasted all that time." Apparently Chiller is so aloof he doesn't consider himself as part of the team, let alone take any responsibility for being head coach. So what difference would it really make to him if he wasn't rehired. He can be aloof in Detroit just as easily as in Minnesota. And we wouldn't have to suffer through another year of his brilliant Kick Ass offensive mind. "Offensive" being the relevant word most appropriate to his play calling, or lack thereof, which squanders the talent of several pro bowlers, and others who could be pro bowlers in any other offense. This is no doubt all wishful thinking, since Ziggy has been in love with Chiller ever since he stopped him from going to interview with Green Bay. You'd think that after all the money he's spent, Ziggy would demand some accountability, not to mention competency, from his head coach. But apparently love is blind. Although I'm a pathetic enough Vikes fan to have bought tickets to Sunday's game, I did so knowing that watching the Chiller Kick Ass offense will be about as fun as screeching my finger nails down a chalk board. It's no wonder they have 20,000 tickets left for a playoff game.

Then he needs to hang on to the ball. Simple, isn't it?

If we were smart we would let them both go and make a push for Cohwer, that is guaranteed success.

I personally don't like Frasier that much, he's too predictable with his play calling. He might be a nice guy, but Tomlin was a better coach.

With the talent he has on D, a better coach would have had them higher than 18th on pass defense. Frasier inherited the Williams boys, thus inheriting the number 1 run defense.

"But I wish I could have had a bigger impact. It's just the way things work sometimes."...bb if you want to have a bigger impact...find ways to get open against the coverage; great impact players always do! the worst thing you can do right now is to develop a t.o. attitude...that will really go a long way toward helping the team.do whatever needs to be done to help this team win...example chester taylor...the man never says anything and continues to do whatever he can to help and is very productive. lastly, watching jerry's girls on sunday, what little success they had, came when romo found whitten...tj...keep an eye on shiancoe...some underneath passing shemes may help.

We previously let Tony Dungy and Brian Billick (both won Super Bowls outside of MN) go to keep Denny Green (No SuperBowls). Now it appears we are going to let Leslie Frazier go somewhere (Denver?) to keep Brad Childress. Anybody else see a pattern here?
