He may be cleared to return to football but he's also delusional. The next time he gets his bell rung in spring training may be his last time. The Panthers would be wise to write him off as injury prone and look for someone to replace him.
If they wait for that to happen in Game One next year, as it did in 2006, they'll likely dump another season and, even worse, have a permanently damaged employee on their hands who they'll have to support for the rest of his life.
Prudence suggests that they cut their losses right now and move on.

I donot understand the Panthers allegiance to Morgan. On any other team he would not have been given another chance. Why in the h-ll did they trade Witherspoon in order to keep a player who has suffered several concussions. Please explain this Mr.Hurley.I could percieve this as an idiotic move with no justification.I applaud his contributions of past,he is endangering his life.Let me come in an make acquisition for the Panthers if this is the best you can do...Please no more stupidity.

Let him go and get a very good MLB in the 2007 NFL draft. Or move Thomas Davis to MLB and still draft a MLB and have him come along under Davis.Oh yeah, Draft a quarterback.,!!!
