Too bad the public could not watch this for free on free broadcast TV! Why do we have to pay to watch a publicly financed football team from a publicly financed stadium and University!

Why do idiots with no interest in college football get to post stuff on free websites. Maybe they should get a subscription to the PP and write a letter to the editor. Go Gophers!

Beating Northwestern is a start, and getting the running game going was great. The real gauge of where Gopher football is at is how they do against the border state rivalries.

Wisconsin is next, and it's at TCF....win this one and they get a free pass until the Iowa game. If the program betters these two border state teams, the Gophers will win enough games to be in a decent bowl game and periodically challenge for the Rose Bowl.

I've been a Gopher fan ever since I can remember...I've been a hopeful fan since forever...I just watched Northwestern lose to Minnesota and now am told Mn is headed in the right direction. Comeon folks who you going to believe the hype or your eyes. If you watched other teams on tv you would see the Gophers are 2nd rate big 10 (oops 11) team...have been for years and will be forever. I for one am not going going out of my way to watch another game. Bring on Gopher basketball!
