Michael Vick Continues To Disappoint Through Preseason

There are 47 comments on the BleacherReport story from Aug 21, 2010, titled Michael Vick Continues To Disappoint Through Preseason. In it, BleacherReport reports that:

Michael Vick and the Eagles have played two preseason games thus far in the 2010 season, going 1-1. Vick has made brief appearances in both, and has not shown anyone that he is ready to play, even as a back-up. I admit it, I have a column about why Vick should start over Kevin Kolb, and I am slowly starting to change my opinion.

I read that he hit the field first day of camp to a "chorus of boos". The thug club must not have arrived yet.

is it really that a 3 time probowler,a division winner can't play, he struggles to run an offense, can't complete passes, can't even gain positive rushing yds? or is it that he's trying to run a backup offense that never even sees the field, a line that can't block, runningbacks that can't run, hell when cinncinati blitzed the defense was in the backfield as soon as the ball was snapped. vicks recievers couldn't even run their routes, and when they did they couldn't catch. and the fumbles, well those were his fault. but seriously,do u know y he played so poor? andy reid knew that if vick continued to play like he did in the first game he would have to give vick more playing time, not wanting to do that he and morningwhig(offensive coordinator) gave vick and his offense a series of plays that they knew they would struggle with. don't go 11/17 119 yds 50 rushihing yds 1 game then 1/6 and 2 turnovers the other it just doesn't work like that. making kolb look good is the key, but it will play out as season progresses, or us skeptics will be wrong and kolb is the missing link

FOR VICK, IT WAS JUST ONE LOUSY GAME WITH THE SECOND STRING OFFENSE...SO WHAT...AND TROY BALLARD, HE HAD A GOOD FIRST GAME, INCUDING THE INT AND FUMBLE...WHAT WILL PEOPLE SAY WHEN KOLB HAS BAD GAMES AND MORE INT THAN VICK?...TRUST ME, IT WILL HAPPEN...NO NEED TO JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS ON VICK AT THIS POINT...IT'S PRESEASON...IF THIS HAPPENED IN REG SEASON GAMES BACK TO BACK THEN IT MAY BE A CAUSE FOR SOME CONCERN, BUT VICK DOESN'T PLAY WITH THE FIRST STRING OFFENSIVE LINE THAT MUCH...THIS IS JUST MEDIA HYPE..WILL SEE WHAT HAPPENS IT THE NEXT EIGHT GAMES, PRESEASON AND REGULAR, THAT WILL BE A TRUE BAROMETER TO WHERE VICK IS AND SHOULD BE....

Just about as soon as you realize how impressive it was for the dog killer to have his own show on BET. Hell, even PBS would have been more impressive.

I'm about as unemployed as you are intelligent.
But don't worry, skillet, me and the public will continue to ensure your section 8 housing, welfare, and aid for your 10 illegitimate kids will continue.
One more thing, the dog killer better be saving his money this time and not paying for his mommas weekly weave and nail job. The NFL is slowly but surely coming to terms with the fact that the felon is a has been. Actually, never was and never will be. He better hope the Arena Football League comes up with something.

Boo Hoo HOO......stop your whining........

tough chit if they won't make it easy for the dog killer.

he had his position and lost it.....now he has to earn it again, just like everyone else that leaves their team to do a little prison time.

con-vick is damned lucky he's got another chance......He doesn't deserve it.

One thing the vick asskissers seem to forget and don't want to talk about is that when they whine and moan about vick going in with the backup offensive line, receivers, and running backs, they are playing against BACKUPS from the other team.

If anything, the dog killer ought to excel because if he is so GD great, and that's according to the asslickers, then he ought to be able to easily use his "superior talents" to take advantage of the lesser skilled oponents.

And the dog killer idolizers can save the "it's a team sport" BS. The above applies either way. Besides, the felon never was one to worry about team play or the greater good. His only concern was how to make himself look good and he did it using the only real skill he "had", his running ability.
