Another fine, feel good article from Ken Murray. That's two this week. Will the well run dry soon?

This guy seems to have a great attitude and a lot of upside potential . I hope we see more of him in the coming weeks. He may turn out to be the steal of the draft and he wasn't even drafted. You never know.

People talk about Heap being injury prone, but how about Wilcox. He's always hurt and will now miss Sunday.

That is a good point. I believe the Ravens understand the constants for this team and organization. Ray Lewis being in the middle is clearly a constant for so many generations of LBs he has been apart of. We haven't heard from the Hartwell's, Sharper's and Thomas's since they left, while new young talent continues to explode on this defense. Ozzie Newsome may have made some miscues on drafting certain offensive positions such as WR and a big mistake with Kyle Boller(That high at the very least), but he is another constant of why our defense continues to be great. Ed Reed already has former players and experts saying that he has the potential to be the greatest safety of all time(aside from Ronnie Lott). He already has one defensive player of the year award and can turn any interception into 6 points in a heartbeat, all the while laying the lumber as good as the other safeties in the league. Haloti Ngata may be looking at a Pro Bowl year this year alongside Albert Haynesworth. He pushes the pile so far back at times, team are forced to go side to side where Ray Lewis and company eat them up. Antwan Barnes and McClain have great potential and seem to have the right attitude along with it. It is for this reason that I believe this is Bart Scott's last season as a Raven. His liability in pass coverage is a weakness that will not be overlooked at the end of the year. I just hope that he doesn't go to New England and, rather than just take his money and be happy, run off at the mouth about Ray Lewis and his former team *coughs* AD *coughs*. Oh Wait, that's almost every linebacker except for Boulware that's left Ray here. Hartwell did it too. |

I was lucky enough to be offered a ticket for Sunday's game and got to see this kid in action. Neither my brother nor I had heard of this McClain (the Ravens have two), but his play made an impression on us. Thanks for telling his story.

Being from the Syracuse area and avid SU fan, I've had achance to see Jameel progress. I didn't know his story and have gained a whole new respect for him. I hope he continues to progress and becomes a main stay for the Ravens defense.

Hooray for this kid, and yeah, what IS with Wilcox? He plays like one down every year, then goes back on the DL. Does he have pictures of Ozzie with a woman not his wife, or is he somebody's long lost cousin?
Whatever , I would like to have his gig. I have great hands and can get hit once or twice a year, and then go back to Maui. And I would charge like one tenth of big Dan's salary. Since neither one of us would help the team, give me a contract, and save the dough. My people will call your people right after the game. |

A feel good story even Fire Trembley would like.

The Pack just cut KGB. Ravens should sign him up and see if he can bring some pass rush. Wouldnt hurt. They have some dead weight on the roster to cut and free up a slot. Theu onlu use Neal for one play a week so ditch him an add value in a weak area.

I think your your dumb ^ss brain has run dry. |
