I hope Gaither works out because it's going to be difficult to find a left tackle with his size and speed. We would be very fortunate to have him to replace Ogden. Maybe he and Troy Smith will play together for a long time to come.

"He had his ups and downs getting to practice on time." Professional athletes truly amaze me. Golden opportunity to play a game for a living and make millions of dollars in the process, and Gaither was late to practices. Gaither, please realize the talent you have and take advantage of it. You didn't take advantage of a free ride at U of M and then you were showing up late to practices. You're costing yourself millions of dollars and blowing an opportunity that many people would die for. If you had maintained a 2.0 GPA and weren't such a malcontent at Maryland, you would have been a first round pick this year. Instead, you went in the 5th round of the suplemental draft. The Ravens want to make you the starting left tackle, meaning there is only 32 jobs like yours in the world. Please take advantage of it for the rest of five foot nothing, hundred pound nothing guys. More importantly, take advantage of it for yourself.

Gaither is a find, has ability and seems a future standout.
But we need to fire Brian Billick first and fast.

Me? QB at 56? nope,,run a clock and play call better than Billick?
Probably,,and I'd do it for 20% of what he gets now.

The Ravens recognize this kid is a's hard to find attitude, a mean streak and athleticism combined into one. The last one I know like that was Big "Zeus"..Orlando Brown. Football is a man's game and you need cats like Gaither to represent the manhood of your team. If you don't beat the crap out of the other team, they will surely do it to you. Gaither will be a starter next season.
