Ogden "Humanity Advanced" Ogden is the greatest offensive lineman in the history of football. 6'9", 345lbs. That's straight man, but he can also move like a deer.

Maybe it's just me -- and I have a world of respect for what J.O. has done as a Baltimore Raven -- but honestly, I'm sick and tired of his "leanings" towards whatever. His off season hostage holding and on again/off again playing this year have done nothing but hurt the team's efforts. Either retire, stay, or shut up.

Why dont they let that man alone. He's rich beyond beliefe. He's gonna need lots of medical help for the rest of his life. Hope he stays away from the booze and stuff. Hope he is smart like J Lewis and starts a business. Stay away from Ray and things like that " Full Moon " thing. But he'll probably be just another [ 300 and counting ] guys in the TV booth. Must be nice.

I love ya J.O., I really do, but, until you make a decision, do us all a favor and keep your sentiments to yourself. Next to listening to the non-stop Brett Favre speculation every year, this is getting tiresome as well. You've done so much for the Ravens, you've got respect and inspire confidence in all of us when you're in the game, PLEASE don't blow it by publicly navel gazing about your future - just do what you're going to do and don't make the rest of us endure the "I'm thinking about it" process.

So do you agree the annual speculation surrounding Favre's retirement is equally as tiresome? Favre's retired the last 5 seasons and I am sure we'll hear the same speculation from him and the media again this year. When it's all said and done he'll be back again, unless GB winds the SB. I do get tired of it. Much of it appears to be self absorbtion.

Shut up and play, or get it over with and quit and be done with it. I just hope that if you come back next yr J.O that you get that toe fixed, they do have a thing called off season surgery.

JO is still a great player. Also, Ray Lewis is #5 in tackles in the league. He may have lost a step (as everyone outside the Raven Organization always points out) but his lost step is still a step ahead of most every other player. If Todd Heap had only a 10th of his desire.....well.....Todd would be out of his dress and high heels and on the field on Sundays. What injury did Ray have in the first game of the season. He has played right through it.

Any chance Ray Lewis will call it quits at the end of this season? We can only hope.

Hey "GHT", truth be told you didn't hear the "I'm going to retire" comments ever from Favre. It was the newsmedia that kept asking the question and making the comment. Favre never has ever come out and said he was going to retire. Whereas Ogden has done it many times. Both Ogden and Favre are Hall of Famers, but the record has to be made straight about your comments. Also, someone should asked Ogden how he would have liked playing his entire career blocking for Favre instead of Testverde, Zeier, Banks, Case, Grbac, Mitchell, Wright, Boller, McNair, ad nauseam...

It's similar. But I'm not a GB fan, so to me, it's apples and oranges as far as this discussion is concerned. Because I don't really care what Brett Favre says and/or does, and/or how it impacts his team. I DO, however, care about what Ravens players say/do, and how that impacts our team.

Ray Cry Baby Lewis missed most of the 2005 season with a "thigh bruise" All he's good for now is arriving after a tackle has been made by Bart Scott and prancing and dancing and beating his chest like he had something to do with it. Lewis is a has-been who still reads his press clippings from the super bowl season.

Hey Oline and Joker - Are you both nuts or smokin something funny? Ray is the undisputed leader, and heart and soul, of the Ravens. Look at his stats and also his passion for the game. I hope Ray finishes his career as a Raven, but that won't happen anytime soon. Ray plays "old school" style football, I only wish more players would play the same way. GO RAVENS!!!!

Actually, he fuels the fire by not saying "yes" or "no" and it's always a wait and see discussion for months. Come on dude, wake up, he fuels the fire. I bet he even pre-approves all media questions, allowing all talk about his "great" career and when it will end. No one is more self absorbed than BF.

I will miss him if he goes, a great player but doomed by and large by a bad supporting cast. If only the guy with the initials B.B. would consider resigning.

Ogden's been great and he will be in the HOF but he needs to go.
We need to move on.
As young as Heap is, I think he needs to go as well - he's like eggshells - his absence killed us this year more than anyone else.

I'm glad the people on this message board don't run the Ravens. So far, Odgen, R. Lewis, and Todd Heap should either retire or go elsewhere. That's crazy. Ray is still the best ILB, including that guy from the Bears, in the league. If Ogden's toe's ok, he's top 3 at his position. Same with Heap. All of these players have at least 2 years left, and in Heap's case like 5. Quit running them out of town.

Some of the dancing around gets old, but I'd take that any day over having to root for the 49ers or Raiders
