Yes , the run would be great , but alas Billick is addicted to the pass . He can't help himself . Whenever a field Goal will seal a win in the fourth quarter , and a running play would keep the clock moving , and almost assure a 3 pointer , he calls for the interception . I've seen it a dozen times.

After last year's playoff, I don't think anyone will be talking about how the Colts moved to Indy. That's history and the door closed on in at the playoffs last year. I was at the playoff game and I think everyone at that game kind of got it out of their system about the Colts. At least I hope so. It was very emotionally draining for the fans. Not that we still don't want the Colts to lose every game. I just think that the emotion won't be there this Sunday compared to last year's playoff game.

The Ravens are a disgrace to Baltimore. For years they have got away with being the bad, loud mouth boys in the NFL. There whinning and crying after the Pats game was the worst. Such a shame after finally playing good football. A player that can't stand to be referred to as a boy? Doesn't sound like a tough guy to me. What's wrong with a man being referred to as a boy? I guess it would have been alright if the ref called him a girl. or the B-word. Then you have a head coach blowing kisses at an opposing player. Let's see - you have a team with players that can't take being called a boy, a head coach blowing kisses, the whole rest of the team whinning about bad calls that were not bad calls at all. Plus they have layed down almost all year. THE BALTIMORE COLTS of old ( here or up above ) must be laughing out loud at these bafoons that call themselfs football players. They should play in the HIPPO league. At least there they might be a .500 team. "WHO LET THE DOGS OUT". Please new owner, let these dogs go and get some football players and coaches in here.

What? You want them to run just because it works? It's been working all season but Billick has always gone back to the pass. The fact that Boller probably had the best game of his career will likely cement the decision to throw throw throw, the the Ravens will lose lose lose.

Yes, the Ravens can run the ball. The problem has been that Billick has called for the pass on 3rd down and short in key situations. I will give him credit for leading his team to a great performance against the Patriots. It was a classic game.

If Harrison gets back in the line-up this weekend, look out. I think the Colts would have easily beaten the Patriots with Harrison playing. They're still great even without him. But, they're unbelievable with him.

Billick is a national disgrace blowing kisses, big man! The ravens are the crybabies of the league. Shut the F-up and play. Time for Ray Ray to stop the woofing.

I am a raven fan but I am embarrassed to be one.

I have to see it to believe it before I give credit to him for calling a great game. Trust me. He will abandon the run early in the game when it not met with initial success. We need a real offensive coordinator. Please

Another question to ask about the Harrison/Billick interaction was why Harrison wasn't flagged for taunting. If he had gotten into the face of a Ravens' player and started talking after that INT return by his team, it would have been 15 yards.

Damn it Mike P, the last time you (or maybe it was Steele) suggested we run a lot, BB called mostly passes. Now you've gone and set us up for more of the same!:-)

Also, you wrote: And why didn't some of the Ravens put Harrison's lights out for badmouthing their coach?

Wouldn't that have shown more of the lack of discipline cited - and criticized - on these pages the last few days?

Preston is RIGHT ON with this article.

billick is an idiot and his players with the exception of Boller clearly don't even like the guy.

"The Ravens are basically the Oakland Raiders of the East."

I like that!

I've given up hope that Billick will ever trust the run enough to make it a useful Raven identity. I expect a return to usual against the Colts. I expect plenty of passes short of the first down sticks.

And, if we should get a lead, drop back on defence and let it fritter away.

I expect plenty of energy on Sunday with just enough stupid mistakes, stupid mistakes, puzzling coaching strategy, and childish behavior to allow us lose a close one.

what do you mean we?

you probably think boller and billick are great at what they do and should stick around.

there is nothing worse than some idiot fan who gets mad that REAL Ravens fans are getting fed up with our team playing like crap.

I guess when you're a MORON like Ron from Clearwater everything is fine.

the Ravens and their REAL fans don't need idiots like you Ron, so get lost and go wash your trailer home dirtbag!

Hey Jon, do they NOT deserve to be trashed?
If not please explain in detail why not?

I can't wait to read this bullcrap.

Thank goodness there is only a small few of loser idiot fans who think that Billick and Boller are doing a fine job. I guess you all were dropped on your heads as babies.

I agree that the real fans have every right to be frustrated at the play-calling. Although I disagree with anyone who thinks all we need to do is run. If you were watching the game, you would notice that we tried nothing but running on two consecutive 4th quarter possessions and got STUFFED both times. They had adjusted. I have been a player and a coach, including an offensive coordinator. You HAVE to have balance. You can't always do the same thing in the same situation. And yes, you can make them stop you by pounding away, and we did that all third quarter. It was awesome. But you have to keep defenses guessing or the run won't work, no matter how well your line is blocking. I don't know of a head coach how is worse with clock management and play-calling in critical situations than BB. However, if he listens to half the people on posting here, we'll end up with Koch punting 9 or 10 times, about 15 points at best, and another feeble defeat. It's all about balance and needs to be against the Colts.

Don't you think the way the Raven's played provided some backing for their coach? But then again the seemingly selfishness and arrogance the Raven's have from head coach on down could have made each of them want to do well solely for themselves. AD couldn't have been more correct with his assessment of this team. Both in success and failure each of them seem to want to top each other. Making up false stories about conspiracy theories comes from the top down and it's either to deceive the fans from the real weaknesses of the team or to catch 1 minutes on sports center.
BILL COWHER= Old School Football and Humility, two themes that could go a long way towards righting the Ravens.
