Jets' pass defense problems continue

Full story: Newsday

Can the Jets cover anyone? No. Why not? It's a combination of not being able to mount any sort of consistent pass rush in recent weeks and, more alarmingly, the realization that the secondary just might not be ...

Whatever, the Niners only scored 24. Where is the QB we traded for that was supposed to open everything up? Oh yeah, that's right, he can't throw deep. If it wasn't for Stuckey's nice 3rd down catch on a poor throw that he turned into a 24 yard gain and led to the first TD, this game would have been an even bigger mess. Brett is holding this team back just as much as any defensive deficencies. When is he going to be held responsible? What you saw from the Niners today was some dude who knew his offense and could make more than head high bullet throws (see the last TD and the TD called back for holding). Brett is a disgrace, go play football in Wrangler commercial...

I have been a frustrated Jet fan since 1964; and this is one of the lowest I have felt, and there have been many over the last 44 years. I have always believed one of the major roles of a coach is to get his or her team motivated to play; typically a team takes on the personality of its coach and unfortunately our the Jets have taken on Manbimbo's dour personality. Our team has no heart. If things do not get better, Mr. Johnson (inherited wealth and clueless) must rid us of this faux coach and his staff.

Like I have said before and will continue to say..Mangini this is not Pop Warner..You have to show some emotion on the side lines and get your players motivated. You continue to look like a deer in the head lights or even worse you look shell shocked out there.

IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE.....

I agree Allan S, Bill Cowher would do just that. He gets up in your face with that big chin and spit flyin. That's a real coach with passion and fire and one that knows the basic concept of sticking with the run game and pressuring a QB into making mistakes. Everyone but Westhoff should be canned. Maybe Mangini can crawl back to Beliturd and the Pats as a towel boy.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Aries

Christmas Eve finds you happy and eager to get the most out of the day. You're in a rather sentimental mood, so if you've got time you'll relish the chance to watch a favourite film, especially if it means you've got to get out the hankies. A friend's kindness or sensitivity will delight you - and make you wonder how you can reciprocate.
