Bears' defense short key piece if Harris can't go

While the Bears made a trade Tuesday to shore up depth on their injury-depleted offensive line, they hope there isn't a bigger health concern they will have to address on the other side of the ball. Full Story

Fellow commenters. Please disregard the comments from the gentleman who claims to be Greg from Chicago.
The Bears have a lot of players who are peaking and they won't be nearly as bad as everybody thinks. A winning season is not out of the question.
Enjoy Orton to Lloyd this Sunday night. I threw up in my mouth when they named the starting offense a few weeks ago. I'm gonna watch Murder She Wrote or Desperate Housewives instead.

It pains me to hear story after story of how inept the Bears will be this season. Here's to hoping for a 4 and 12 season if their lucky and Hanie getting his feet wet the last 4 games. Dump the management starting with Angelo and the off/def coordinators. Give Lovie one more year before he goes too. God I wish the McCrapksies sell the franchise.

Man, if I didn't know better, I'd say all us Bearfans are somewhat cynical. I still think that if they would have put more money into the O-line in the offseason via free-agency, we might have a shot this year, assuming that the offense isn't as bad as it's looked all preseason.

Another lame excuse for the losses that will pile up....just now, the staff are concerned for line help....we have needed help for 2 years now and the idiot Angelo just figured it out that we need OL help...too little way too late...let's get this season over with, fire Angelo, Turner, Babich and Lovie at the end of the season and get people who can lead, not the idiots we have....

Bearsnut is an idiot...he thinks the Bears are being picked on and is mad we think they will have a very poor season....I think he has been drinking too much to think...or is he related to Angelo? We will suck this year...one of the worst team offenses and defenses in the league, with 10 to 12 losses....poor backups to poor starters, bad drafts, bad QB, no receivers....Bearsnut thinks we should be optimistic...is he kidding....must be an Angelo...

Its amazing to read most of these posts to see the optimism just oozing, and we are still just 0-0. Has the defense played well in the preseason, NO!! Has the offense played well yet, well so-so!! Tommy Harris overrated?? Are you friggin nuts?? Luckily,(finally) its time for the Colts. Now we will see what this team is made of. If Harris cant go, that huge kid, Isreal Idonje will be in there. You so called "Bear Fans" can watch your "desparate housewife"crap and "Murder she Wrote". But as a TRUE BEAR FAN my butt is going to rooting for the BEARS. Payton Manning is rusty, their center is out. Urlacher is pissed off and I think this defense is going to come out with guns blazing. If the offense shows anything its BEARS 24-17. Then you sissies can come back from watching your crap and "root" for your team.

Man ..... You're confused !!

OF COURSE we'll also be rooting for the Bears !!

It just so happens that we're more realistic, and less delusional, about the season.

Do you, also, still believe in the tooth fairy ??..... Get real !

What you said is what most Bear fans wailed after the preseason when they went to the Super Bowl, they looked like crap, kicked butt in the regular season and look at how full the bandwagon was!!! Have some faith, they are still 0-0, seems like you are a glass is half empty guy!!
