"The best safety in the league"?

You're an idiot. Maybe 7 years ago.

I say again: You're an IDIOT. Go away.

Turning Ty Law into a safety woulda been nice. Rod Woodson extended his career by doing that.

Hey "too much", I don't see how we could lose by 7 this week seeing we have a BYE! Dumbass.

Do ya think they picked Holt over Law because he's younger and his minimum salary is lower? Sounds like the Bears M.O. to me.

How does Terrence Holt, a guy that has been looking for a job for three months, put roster pressure on Mike Brown??? Was that just a throwaway line or is there some substance behind it??

Orton's comment is just another of the stark differences with Grossman; who was sure to claim credit for success and slow to suggest responsibility for failure.

This guy Rosen doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. To compare Orton to Grossman is ridiculous. Yes there are some similarities in their first 6-7 games but these guys are very different. When did Grossman ever bring the Bears down the field in 2 minutes to go ahead with 11 seconds to play. Try never. Orton has something Grossman lacks, leadership and poise. Grossman started hot and got worst. Orton started just OK and is getting better all the time. Finally what's this Lovie Kotite stuff. Kotite won 1 game. Lovie's been to a Superbowl. Know what you're talking Rosen.

Why not give a proven veteran like Law a shot? I think they chose Holt because of health but Law has played at a very high level most of his career. I would make more since to actually sign both due to our secondary dropping like flies. Holt is okay, but I think Law would have been a better pick here.
Oh and don't get it confused or messed up. Holt will not challenge Brown for his job, trust me. Mike Brown, IMO, is still one of the better safeties in the league. Their just not letting him play like he used to to protect him from injury. I think the reward is worth the risk. Let him roam and punish players like he used to. It could be just what our defense needs.

I don't know what Bears defense you all have been watching. But broken down Mike Brown is washed up.

Ortons comments always come of as if he's a very well grounded person.

Of course you never know if he's us trying to say the right thing or truly means it..........but I'm buying Orton stock...lol....

Why a safety? Wouldn't they be better served by getting another cornerback? Move doesn't make sense to me.

Archuleta wasn't bad, but he wasn't good for us either. I wouldn't be too opposed to giving him another shot though.

Way off the subject, but is it just me or does the defense seem to play better without Tommie Harris?
