Is Tommie Harris still on the team? If so, has he suited up yet?

Rashied Davis needs to get his head screwed on straight. A lot of blame has been placed on Olsen and Peanut, but if he didn't drop all those passes, the Bears would likely be 3-0. He is the #1 goat so far IMO.

Cut him! Two drops in two weeks, and he had a dumb holding call on a Forte run against the Panthers. This guy is a bum.

Angelo won't cut him, because his salary is affordable, which is much more important to the Bears than his ability and performance.

it doesn't matter Orton won't give a reciever a fair shot why don't all you Rex bashers admitt it this guy is not cutting it no matter what the call is he is gonna throw it no mor than 5 yards only time he throws it deep is when we're behind. look at the game sunday all of his deeper throws were floaters and short Brandon mide some great catches reaching back over the corner to snag them. He has time in the pocket no excuse not to look for recievers down field 1st.

If this was a good team and had the conditioning and toughness to finish off their opponent, the Bears would be 3-0. However, in the words of Dennis Green, "They are what we thought they were"- which is mediocre at best. I have said all along that Rashied Davis is not an NFL caliber receiver, and once again he proved it on Sunday. Lloyd showed he can be a solid number two. If the Bears had a true number one NFL caliber receiver to complement Lloyd, they would have a decent offense. Although from what we are seeing, Greg Olsen is starting to drive down Bust Avenue. Where was he when they needed him Sunday? Getting jammed at the line by a d-back half his size, and not getting any separation, thats where. Should they get pummeled by the Eagles on Sunday, which I anticipate, they will be 1-3, and on their way to 6-10 as everyone predicted. Shame on you Jerry Angelo for putting such little emphasis on offense. Family activity Sundays start early this year. Kind of reminds me of the Wannstedt era. Eeesh.
PS- Good question about Tommie Harris Drew. I would not be surprised to see him on my milk carton pretty soon. He got his paper though. What a joke.

What do you expect Bill, he is from Gainesville. Have you ever seen where their school system is ranked? At least he had something relevant to say though, which is more than we can say about your post.

Great avatar Rod. It seemed like Davis had soaked his hands in a BOX OF RAIN, and they got all SUGAREE. His LOOSE LUCY hands are not at NFL standards. ME AND MY UNCLE watched the game, and he thought he looked like STAGGER LEE out there. These Bears FEEL LIKE A STRANGER to me. Who knows, maybe Sunday night they can pull off an upset under a PICASSO MOON, but I doubt it. DONT EASE ME IN again with an upset of Philly. It would take a SAMSON AND DELILAH kind of effort though. I have a hunch I will be feeling the MEXICALI BLUES afterwards though. Oh well, I will just have to keep on TRUCKIN.

Smith and Angelo have to go. How many years does it take to make this team more than one year wonders? Smith's choice of his buddy over Rivera as defensive coordinator shows his lack of judgment. The defense has yet to play up to the Rivera years. Orton has done well enough to have this team leading in the 4th quarter in all three games. Davis' drops and Olson's lack of production show Smith's and Angelo's lack of ability to judge talent. How is it that other teams select low draft picks and free agents who become quality pass catchers and this team has one, Lloyd. I guess they use the fish net method of selecting receivers.

I guess we can hope that the Blackhawks have a good season.

How many different ways can we say what we said right after the draft ?

Is all of this any suprise to you ?

I've had it with Lovie! That's a catch Davis will "make a majority of the time." Really? For what he gets paid, he should make that play ALL of the time. I see what Haugh means about the players tuning Smith out. I probably would too. An NFL team with no emotion will never be as good as it can be in my opinion. I also wonder if he interferes in the play calling at all. If so, he should stop.

Didn't we have a receiver in training camp name Hass who seemed to catch everything thrown his way ? Why not give him a chance ?!

Sad we are even discussing receivers who wouldn't make even the practice squads of most teams. Whinny Wannies teams of the 90's look better than this mess.

Forget Rex! That has been the problem with this team and city. Until you have a nucleus this will always be a grave yard for QB's. Hell McMahon was decent and we worship him. But he was a china doll. The only reason Mac had any success was he called his own (not Ditkas)plays as he read the def, and had #34!!. Griese tried this last yr and was ran out of town. Get some Recievers who separate and run good routes period then an avg QB will look good.

I would like to see Earl Bennett get some opportunities at receiver. He is known for having good hands & catching the tough passes in traffic. Matt Forte is a stud,he is doing just great. He has over 300+ yards rushing in just 3 games vs very good teams. With his receiving skills he is reminding me of a Brian Westbrook.Hang in their fellow Bear Fans dont panic or lose hope.It has been only 3 games with 2 on the road vs very tough teams,we could be 3-0.Our mistakes are fixable. We are only 1 game back in our division.I know the losses hurt, but please hang in their & support our Bears.Take care Everyone. God Bless! BEAR DOWN!! GO BEARS!!

Lovie is just too vanilla. The players have no fear of him!! He will not sit anyone for making stupid plays. Oh the majority of the time Davis will make that catch. Bull Harkey!! And Till no ones going to push me around Man!! What a clown!! No one has to fear what the coach is going to do! Lovie would pat them on the head and say it is okay, Not your head will roll!! It all starts at the top!!! The team is a reflection of its Head Coach!! And all you hear from him is excuses!! Fire Lovie and his staff from Gilligans Island!!!!
