Ha... Ha... Ha...

Haugh has FINALLY "seen the light", and is making the same kinds of observations that have been posted on this Forum for weeks.

He's definitely not a Bears' apologist.... Even he cannot fathom what they're trying to do.

It's become pretty universal,..... Nobody can figure out Angelo's plans!

But there's ONE thing we all know .......... We're close...... Very,... very close.

That last bit says it all. The front office is being inconsistent --if we're close, then why aren't we pursuing any impact players in free agency to bring us over the top? The Vikes without a true QB makes the NFC North still up for grabs.

And if they think we're not close, why the charade?--dump salaries and trade for more draft picks. I think these half-measures (less than half really) is simply perpetuating mediocrity and prolonging the inevitable.

Personally, i would like to see the Bears give the current roster one more chance --alot of these guys took us to the superbowl not too long ago. But we do have some major needs and the Draft will not be enough, and we've already missed out on some very good players in Free Agency.

Which ever way the Organization decides to go, i just wish they'd make up their minds and go with it. As much as Bears' Fans are fanatical about our team, we are NOT the GMs. Popular opinion, no matter how loud or passionate the plea, should not rule the day. It is the GMs job to put a winning product on the field. Thus far, the fans are left confounded and frustrated with the inconsistent message the front office is sending.

This article is just as goofy as the bears. Asking and then answering their own dumb a** question with dumb a** answers. The bears are not going to win more then 6 games this years. The are going to get burned in the air. That was their weakiness last year and they have not did anything to solve that. Players play the game not coachs!!!!

Just 3 things for the Bears to keep in mind during the 3 day mini camp (1 thing each day).

1. The defense SUCKS!
2. The offense SUCKS!
3. The entire team...SUCKS!

Nuff said.

Let's just recap our busy off season moves, shall we. Hired 0-16 head coach Rod Marinelli. LOL!!!

Signed backup T/G Omiyale. LOL!!!

Resign No dress although healthy Kevin Jones. LOL!!!

Sign backup Scrub from the Saints, Buttocks. Really LOL!!!

And continue to focus on the human revolving door that is known as St. Clair. LOL!!!

They won't go after Pace not because they are worried that he might get injured or any other excuse they try to feed us but simply because they are CHEAP!!!

It's really not about winning, it's about making money and just putting on a band aid wherever they can!!!

Just as long as they win anywhere from 6-8 games a year it's a success.

Chicago is the NFL's second largest market yet we manage to be the cheapest.

Mediocrity at it's best and the Bears absolutely strive on it.

I hope the seats at Soldier Field will be completely empty next year but we are stuck in a town with Cub fans and you know they just love spending their money on losers. Until than the Bears will continue to do business as usual.

The Bears could still salvage this offseason by going after Jay Cutler and bringing in Anquan Boldin. I can dream can't I?

If I had money i'd bet on Vasher to be healthy and come back and take his job, but why does'nt anyone call out "roasted" Peanut Tilman? He's prone to be out of position and give up big plays even when healthy. I'd like to see someone supplant him as the starter and move him to nickelback (not safety). He does an excellant job on big recievers and is a descent NFL cornerback, I don't know maybe someone should call out adawale ogunleyah for giving the oppossing quarterback all day t burn our corners.

it's really sad for us, the fans. To be honest, after 50, yes FIFTY years, I'm throwing in the towel....just don't care anymore. And here's an observation for the youngsters...the problem is Mike McCaskey, plain and simple. Some say he has nothing to do with the team and I say BS. This situation has his stamp all over it, just like post 85. Lovie and Anjelo got it a lot worse than us because they have to stand there and insist we are "close" because they can't tell the truth and quit. I wouldn't want their job for anything.
oh, and please, no packer jokes..I'm
not from Rhinelander but the "sout side".

Well, all we can do as Bears fans is keep the faith and hope Forte runs for 4000 yards, that way we won't have to worry about the quaterback, receiver, and defensive problems that seem to haunt us every year.

Kyle Orton is our QB? All he needs is WR's? Who is this idiot kidding? Orton sucks period! The Chicago media ran the only QB talent we had out of town and now they are trying to cover their butts by talking up this worthless Orton by saying he has no WR's. What about Grossman and the WR's he had. Also don't forget the all star line Grossman had in front of him.

don't always agree with you but right on the money. i'm glad rex decided to leave we will see just how really bad the bears are going to be without him. now that kyle knows he has no rex around to compete he will belly flop big time. checkdowns checkdowns and more checkdowns. check this out.. this is what i do for a living. here's my youtube page and one of the qb's in my program. i'll be posting more training videos up but in the mean time enjoy boys. believe me i know more about qb's than you guys think and rex grossman had some real good talent. too bad he went to chicago because they clearly have no clue about developing qb's.

Uhh..Maybe it's just me, but I would not call a defense that finished the last two seasons ranked 21st and 28th in the NFL mediocre.

Sub-Par would be a more accurate description.

Bacause "Peanut", along with Briggs and the declining Brian Urlacher, is the only legitamite NFL starter on the defense. He's a borderline pro bowler... He's the guy you're going to call out???

I'll tell you this much, that Dvorcek rednack could be the worst NFL player I've ever seen in my life.

I hate to break it to you,.. but .......... HE'S.. GONE !!.... And no-one else wants your "All-star QB".

If no other team "thinks that he is the answer" ... why should the Bears??

Give it up, already !!

No amount of bashing Orton will make Rex a better QB !!..... Or, taller...... Or, more coordinated...... Or, a faster runner...... Or, not panicky.

Give it a REST !!........

The Bears so much remind me of the Cubs. When they hired Ed Lynch for the GM job at Wrigley, he astutely brought in the losingest manager in MLB history--Jim "Chump" Riggleman--and his first trade was for the losingest pitcher in MLB history, Anthony Young--Mr. 0-19. The results were absolutely stupifying: he managed to improve their records slightly. Yes Riggleman is still the losingest manager ever, but he removed Micky Morandini from the 2B job and installed Jerry Myers. And don't forget, Young did pick up one win. lol

REX--I can see him fumbling a snap twice in a row right now. I don't know why the Packers haven't picked him up already.

Yes, the Bears cannot draft well because they do not have anyone who is capable of evaluating talent. Angelo drafts more poorly than he speaks. "Wait until the next decade" ought to be the Bear's new motto. BTW, don't you think it is about time to give Urlacker another raise?

Some generous fellow said "6 wins" in 2009. I agree only if the Lions draft a QB in the first round. If not, I figure the Lions can take at least one of those games and cut the Bears down to 5 wins.

Smith, Babich and the 0-16 former Lions head coach Marinelli remind me of ...the Three Stooges.
