Its away one excuse after the other with Lovie Smith, how many times can he blame his players for the reason that HORRIBLE cover 2 defense does not work. His players are starting to turn on him, everytime Lovie says the "players need to execute." Every single week its Lovie making excuses for the poor and horrible coaching staff. This team is good, they are simply getting outcoached.

HEY LOVIE if you keep running the same thing and its not working, what makes you think running it again will work.

This team is as soft as as lame as it's coaching staff. Good teams find ways 2 win.

Tired of Lovie saying the players will step up and play better D. Face it, the defensive coordinator can't adjust, doesn't get his players up on the line to jam the receivers, and every opposing coach knows how to beat the Bears scheme, because Babitch won't adjust.

"We have veterans in the locker room," Lovie Smith said. "We'll step up, get things corrected."
-- That was Mike Martz's mantra in St. Louis as the Rams disintegrated in his last two years as coach. Lovie learned well from Martz.

This team is no longer playing 4 this coaching staff. I'd say this is the worst coaching staff in Bears history.

Living in northern Wisconsin, this disgusted Bears fan didn't have to see the end of the game because the network switched over to the Queenie game (thank you, Buccaneers!)

Kudos to Mike Brown for having the guts to man up post-game, but I really want him to say what he said when Cleveland beat us a few years ago ... "We Suck!"

Oh, and please get a clue and fire Babble-ich.

What's really disturbing about this latest loss is the destruction of the hope Bears fans had just a few short weeks ago.
Even after the Vikings game, a win that had loss written all over it,
we still had a sliver of hope.
Not anymore though.
41 points here, 37 points there.
70 passes without a sack here,
200 plus yards rushing there.
Be encouraged, fans! There's always next week. And when the 'Next Weeks'
are all gone, there's always next year.
Bear Down, Bears fans. Bear Down.

That's why these idiots needed to get those wins that were in the bag, like in the Carolina and Tampa games, and especially the Atlanta game. They could really use those wins right about now.
If ever there was a sign of how clueless these coaches are, just look at how they gave away that Atlanta game at the end.
Heck, just look back to the playoff game in 2006 where they got thoroughly outcoached against Carolina. that was the game that made me lose all faith in this coaching staff's abilities to take this team all the way, and even though they made the Super Bowl the following year, I was numb throughout the whole process because I knew not to get my hopes up (heck, they should've lost in their first game against a depleted Seattle but Seattle gifted them that game and it took a 50yd. field goal in overtime to win)

Where's the call for Ron Turner's head? The announcers noted GB was fielding 5 DBs almost the entire game, yet Ron Turner continues to be pass-happy with a gimpy Orton, well before the game got out of hand. Were there ever two consecutive rushing plays called? Why has Kevin Jones almost completely disappeared from the field since game 1 against Indy?

Hey Brian, we know what you smell like too, but we usually cuss out someones dog when we get it on our shoes.

When the season started, I thought this team would be lucky to go 4 and 12 based on the defensive performance of the preseason. When they beat Indy and came close to beating Carolina, I thought this team may not be bad at all. I think the entire defense needs to watch a tape of the first half of the carolina game where everyone, and I do mean EVERYONE, was flying to the ball. The defense that played in the Packer game yesterday was our preseason defense. For this team to have a shot, and I just don't mean win a stinking worthless division, the defense has to play like the defense in the first half of the carolina game. If that means you sit certain " star " players, sit them - you reading this Tommie Harris? For starters put in Kennedy and Harrison at tackles and see what they can do. The current people are not getting a push off the ball and collapsing the pocket. Finally, if things don't change immediately, change the bears fight song to heartbreaker by pat benatar - they can get a copy of it from the cubs

Wow. Reading this stuff is a blast. What's the difference between a Bear and a puppy? The puppy stops whining after 6 weeks.

Well, Dave .....

Do you still think the opponents are awestruck at the sight of Urlacher ??

Looks like they were happy to see him in there .......... Much like they were, in the past, to see Rex in the line-up.

The Bears defense hasn't been the same since Ron Rivera left the Defensive Coordinator job.

This is "Lovie Him or leave him", because he's going to be around for a while.

Guess well be lousy until then.

Trouble is, Lovie has about as much a clue as most who write in here. Time to rotate QB's with Turner on the sidelines pushing them on to the field with plays.

Makes about as much sense as most things I've read the past couple of months.

And let Browny take over the defense, at least he's honest about what's happening. Got to admit there's a problem before something can get fixed, and so far he's the only one with the guts to admit.(Go ahead and say it Brian)

And way to play Orton! Gosh your good!

Hopefully, management will have the guts to fire the coaching staff at the end of the year. No matter if the President of the U.S. takes issue with doing so.

Great, they admit they didn't play well. Well, DUH!!! Any idiot can see that they are a team in trouble. What I want to know is, how are they going to fix it. Just stating that they will kick it up will not make it so. So enlighten us Lovie, what are you going to do? Tell us what brilliant ideas you have.

In the meantime, I am so happy I sold all of my seats this year. Couldn't pay enough to sit and freeze my ass off watching this nightmare.

The defense was bad, but the offense did nothing. Urlacher gets a pick and the O went three and out. Three points! Every wideout got pushed around. Olsen and Forte were the only guys that could handle the physical play. The defense is weak and it has been all year. The games that they have won the offense has scored a lot of points. If they want to win more games they are going to have to score! I know one thing for sure. The bears O line has not pushed a defense around like the packers did yesterday in two years.. There are a lot more problems than just the D. Bear down.
