The Bears did stink up the field. It's too bad you as a paid writer can only repeat stats and information already provided in at least 3 other outlets on the same website, and on other news fronts before that. If only you had done something witty or unique, rather than ripping on someones faith and making a mockery out of mine at the same time, rather than sticking to football (another area your writing often offends me.)

So the plan is to get a higher draft pick by playing just good enough to make Bears fans happy and to get one play-off game for revenue? Nope not working ...
Second plan is to go get Chico back from the Chargers? Nope not working as Norv Turner will be fired and the Chargers will keep Chico as he will become the new head coach. They will not let him out of his contract I bet.
Third plan to get Chris Williams back on the field to save Angeblows job. Nope not working so we can call Williams a bust along the line of recent picks. Angelblow's job is going to remain and we get to suffer more of this garbage.
Good to see that we are trying to catch the rest of the NFL and be competitive... Nope not working there either.
Time to get some corners who can actually perform Press-man coverage. Green Bay's duo is very old and yet they may both go to the pro-bowl.
Dusty D. your cab is waiting. Please take the secondary with you.
Fullback, what fullback. Even our cast-offs are now out of the league and one more is pending.
Can Ron Turner count higher than 5 or know that a o-line split needs to be larger than 3.5 yards between lineman? No. Could we try doing like Tulane and spreading the linemen way out with 5 yard splits and letting Forte run between them on a sweep to the 6 or higher holes. He is an open field runner.
Overpaid the best returner in football and made him a receiver. Timmie got his baby-momma money and became a ghost who is never on the field every play. Money ruins the drive to perform as they can now afford to ignore responsibility on the field.
Time to start dealing away our defensive ends for draft picks. Some buyers will like our well needed fire-sale. Possibly Angelblow will go buy some horse dung to put in the Bears lockers next time we face the Packers at Lambeau like in the 1985 season. Possibly it will get a fire going over all this indifference at least.
List goes on and on, but we all can see that. Just let us see the woefull end and hire Matt Millien to know the team is going to become extinct. Maybe that will end the McCasket dynasty.

Please make no mistake, the Packers may be 5-5 but they are one of the five best teams in the NFL. The Packers totally outplayed Atlanta, Tennessee, and Minnesota but all three results in closes losses. With AJ Hawk now playing the middle, this Packer team is going to scare every; upcoming opponent. Also consider the Pack has one of the toughest schedules in the NFL. We didn't lose to some flunky team!!

Dear Tommie, Know what the Bears defensive line and I have in common? I can't rush the passer either! How did Nathan Vasher go from the interceptor to the not so innocent bystander? Maybe the defense has too much money in their pockets. As much as I hate to say it. Even if the Bears somehow win the division they will be one and out. They aren't near good enough to beat any other playoff team.

When are you media types come out and state the obvious.
Brian Urlacher was the force that made the defense click both
mentally and physically. He is not even a shadow of his former self. Is it wear and tear, the fat new contract or the inability to use performance enhancing drugs any longer? I'm not saying I have the answer, but it has to be one of them and you "reporters" need to start reporting and find out.

The Bears outplayed those teams as well, but totally destroyed the Vikings. Keep drinking the green kool-aid, the Packers are no better than the Bears or Vikings!

First off, with the amount of salary money sitting on D, this level of play is pathetic. You have a bunch of diva players on the defense who b**ched and moaned for more money and now couldn't stop the Illini offense. Nice.

Second, maybe if Lovie and Babich didn't have this ridiculous, stubborn attachment to the "Tampa 2" defense, the Bears wouldn't be getting torn up every week on D. They don't have the players for it, first of all and second, it doesn't work! Even TOny Dungy stopped running the Tampa 2...hello???
