for getting paid many, many millions of dollars, i think tommie should just shut up and start playing again.

and lovie better NOT be considering adding marinelli to his staff. adding a coach who made nfl history with a perfectly bad season would be the stupidest thing lovie has done, and that's saying something.

Lovie needs to go. He is sad to see a good coach get fired? Come on. He was perhaps the worst thing that ever happened to Detroit. What a joke! The Bears have a head coach that is way to feeble to take them to the next level. His post game comments and this one proves it.

Harris go home and think about how bad you were this year. Talk about someone who makes a ton of money and made absolutely no impact on defense and that is you! The offense never had to double team you because you were never in the game. You must have been worried about your personal problems and your new kid instead of about football. Quit using the injury excuse as you have done your whole career. Whenever your play sucked and that was a lot of the time you used the injury card for an excuse. Maybe if you would practice sometimes instead of having your daddy, Smith, protect and coddle you, you might be more effective. No wonder Smith is known as a players coach when he treats everyone like a spoiled child and pats them on the back instead of kicking their butt when it is needed. Bears must have a new head coach, Smith - we no longer trust you! Maybe with this mantra that you have used for 3 years it will get you a job with Obama. Try him instead of the Bears.

Your telling me that the injury is still nagging him from last year week 3....give me a break. If it was that bad, get it taken care of. We really need help on the front four and then we can """"go from there"""" "

I will reluctantly give Tommie a pass for this season. I believe he was injured. If anything, his reputation and pride are hurting badly.

All season long i was waiting for him to make a play and he never did. Since he is ours now, we are paying him big $$, all I can do is believe him and hope he gets better. If he does not return to his old self, i will be very pissed though. Plus, some of the blame has to be laid at the horrible D play calling. Why is that country bumpkin still coaching 12/30/08? Nobody with country drawls should be allowed to live in Chicago, let alone coach our beloved bears! 100% serious about that.

Well, Tommie, what else would I expect from you but excuses. You are ALWAYS HURT, you ALWAYS skip practice, and when criticism comes, you ALWAYS cry.

What I want for the New Year is for the Bears to wake up and release your overpaid, overrated big keyster. You are the highest paid Bear of all time. Walter is rolling over in his grave. The fact that your name was even mentioned regarding the Pro Bowl just goes to show you what a joke the Pro Bowl truly is. The Pro Bowl at this point is just for agents to include it in contracts so YOU and HE can get bonuses. that's all. Tommie, you are a man-child bum. Go get your buddy Cedric, watch some Oprah, and have yourselves a good cry!

One more thing Tommie, whatever "protection" you, Urlacher, and Briggs are using doesn't work. Try something else.

Hey Tommie . . playing injured more often than not . . it's time to get yourself healthy and in shape. Injuries happen most often to lazy out of shape athletes, with poor weight training and cross training initiative and playing with poor or improper technique.

Harris was voted a Pro Bowl first alternate and said he planned to play in Hawaii, assuming Minnesota's Pat Williams sits out due to a shoulder injury.

Hey Dude - Like they say " Come On Man ". Get your knee fixed and then let your play determine if you are worthy. Sorry Tommie but you played like a Jabroni.

wah wah da da, That's what I was thinking. Harris is too hurt to play well and all he needs is to get healthy, but he's planning on playing in a Pro Bowl he doesn't deserve to be in?
Doesn't matter. Our big problem is the coaching staff and I'm not optimistic about that getting fixed soon.

Trade harris for draft picks...the gets more encroachment penalties than sacks
Do not resign Mike Brown. Move Tillman to free saftey
Draft a Middle linebacker and move urlacher to strong.

Tommie Harris is an immature head case. Did anyone hear his incoherent rambling after Sunday's game to William Jackson? Overpaid and under performing gets you a Pro Bowl alternate spot? He should have been on a milk carton for most of the season.

im thinking Mike Brown would be a great DB coach and if he would accept the position i would give it to him. And as for Tommie Harris....he is done.....always hurting.....always making excuses....if your not well Tommie then stay away till you do get well....i prefer your replacements as well, Anthony, Marcus, and Idonije are all better and cheaper. If anyone one wants Tommie cry-baby, make an offer.
