Bill Cower for defensive coordinator. Crazy perhaps but maybe he would like to get off the hot seat. Success making the Bears defense great can make you a God in Chicago. Which is a lot better than being almost an ex anything anywhere else in the world. Anyway they need a mad dog on the coaching staff. Oddly I say keep Lovie. Somehow he knows how to win.

What would you expect from Haugh? He was one of the media that threw Grossman under the bus in favor of this Orton wannabe QB. It would be tough for him to write the truth about Orton now wouldn't it?

Orton is a bum and only losers like Haugh, Lovie, and Turner would defend him.

Look at Flacco and Ryan, rookies doing better than Mr. Four Year man.

Four years in the NFL and he still stares down his primary receiver.

He was a choker at Purdue and he is a choker here!

Bill Cowher? What are you smoking? That dude could name his price for any job he wanted. If you seriously think he'd play second-fiddle to Smith behind a developmentally disabled front office, you're nuts.
Make all the jokes you want about the Lions at 0-16, but everyone in the business knows that Rod Marinelli is better suited as a coordinator than a head coach (as was Dick Jauron, Dave Wannstadt, etc.). Bring him in, and you'll see a pass rush from the front four--which, at the end of the day--is what the Cover 2 relies on.

Looks as though D. Haugh`s Sunday article had the teams transposed. To think the Bears are better team than the Vikes is laughable........

Just because you are Lovie's friend does NOT make you qualified for a coordinator job with the Bears! Marinelli should be the Bears' LAST RESORT to replace Babich!!!

I have Direct TV football package and get to see and hear several different annoucers for the Bears games and , to a man, they all have said "if you watch Orton's eyes he will lead you to the ball" that is- he never looks off a receiver. The good quarterbacks scan the field for a receiver and select the best open man, not Orton he finds a receiver and never lets his eyes waver thus the defense knows to whom the ball is going and they get there first. If so many knowledgeable announcers, ex-players primarily, can see this why doesn't Lovie and Turner. Because they stink and should be dired at once!

I would be fine with Rod Marinelli at defensive coordinator. But another name that I'll throw out there is Romeo Crennel. He won Super Bowls with the Patriots, and he'll be fired by the Browns soon.

Rex's ultimate failure, and Orton's regression into bad and predictable habits can be traced to ANOTHER Lovie pet, and one who somehow doesn't get the revilation he deserves, the QB coach, Pep Hamilton.

In all, Lovie Lee seems to this fan, the football equivalent to Johnnie B. Baker. An enabler and excuser for failure, with a complete arrogance and unwillingness to accept responsibility or make adjustments.

Get used to mediocrity, we play well enough to fill seats=Mcaskey CASH. NO changes will be forthcoming.

KO did play decent ball, and frankly I am so tired of the QB rotation, I would be happy to have him there for next season. Get him some weapons and see what happens, lord knows we gave far worse (and more expensive) players multiple oppurtunities, why is everyone so anti-KO? No QB is coming to Chicago that can change things with the managements commitment to mediocre offense.

As a football coach, I can't help but think that with the ability this team has (or at least had)that the coaching is just p*&^ poor. No half time adjustments, ever.

For Babich-the last two seasons statistically should be enough to get rid of him.

For Turner- Not a great play caller but given his budget and talent level, we overachieved. Keep him unless there really is someone better out there that would come to Chicago.

The position coaches...well the O-line played above expectations our running game would have been served nicely if Jones could have been used somewhere, we have no recievers or Drake is not very good...not sure. Hamilton needs to get creative on drills for fundamentals.

Defensively...we are not monsters of any midway...I say scrap the lot of 'em.

and Lovie, is not going anywhere.

How 'bout getting some players who are young & healthy enough to practice throughout the season...I'm talking to you Tommie Harris & Ur-lagger. Hey Bri, why don't you just retire and go make some more crappy commercials. Better yet, you retire Angelo and take your stupid head coach w/ya...
