Interesting article.
But I suggest the author check into Robert Griffin, the freshman phenom who plays for Baylor. Griffin was the #3 ranked dual-threat QB coming out of high school, took over the Bears' offense in the second game last year and rushed for more yards and threw for more than Pryor, and this was with Baylor - not exactly a football powerhouse. He broke the NCAA record for new quarterbacks without an interception. He was Big12 Freshman of the Year.
Oh, and Griffin also is a world-class track man. He placed third at the NCAA's in the 400M hurdles.

Look at the defenses he faced at Baylor. They are laughable. The only team in the Big 12 with any d is Texas and they are evenly matched as a team with Ohio State. This Ohio State team next year is fast. James Jackson from Michigan is a 4.31 guy and they have 6 guys on that class who are 4.4. This next 4 years of OSU football is going to be either great or a dissapointment . They have great size speed combo. Florida does not have big speedsters. Just wait.

Yeah, right. He faced terrible teams in Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, Texas Tech, Connecticut.
You're right of one thing - next year Ohio State will be another big disappointment. Probably get blown out by USC at home, win or tie for the Big Ten panzie conference, and lose another bowl game.
Just be ready for it.

THAT DISSAPOINTMENT should have beaten your longhorns. They won it by the skin of their scrots. Ohiostate held texas to 17 pionts with 16 seconds left. That phantom contact to McCoy's head was non existant and a bad call basically won you the game. I would not brag about that.

I am not a Longhorn fan. I am a Buckeye, born bred and bleed scarlett and gray. I'm just tired of this team blowing it in big games. Tressel needs to reevaluate his offensive game plans.
And yes, I agree, UT was very lucky to win that game. Ohio State had it won, then let Texas steal it. All those speedy athletes in the defensive secondary and they line up 5-8 yards off the receivers. Hit'em in the mouth at the line when they come off and throw off their timing.
I dont think Pryor is the savior everyone makes him out to be. Sure, he's good. But he missed a couple of easy throws in the Fiesta Bowl that would have lead to big gains. He could have run a couple of times for a first down but tried to pass.
I stand with what I said on Robert Griffin. He's faster than Pryor and he's got a better, more accurate arm.

below zero ten days ago and it is pretty cold. We hit 40 last week and it felt like 60. Then we got shit on by 2 inches of snow then .75 inch of ice then 8 more inches of snow on top of the few inches that were already on the ground. Im 220 and can walk on any lake around no problem. I wanted to go ice fishing but changed my mind.We still have a month and a half of this left. St Patricks usaully is around the last snow. It got cold down there too huh?

Ohio's db's are speedy enough to go man up an any offense. They have track stars all over that defense. Chimde is a Ohio State runner and Jenkins is very fast as well. No one in that secondary is slow at all. They need a play caller.

I'm sorry that you have a hating for the Buckeyes however the defenses in the Big 12 (with exception to texas) were terrible and that was proven in the bowl games. The Big 10 defense is much better than the Big 12.
