The ole' walrus just made his first semi-lucid decision in years. 'Course it was in a feeble effort to save his own miserable azz.

From the article:

"The season is over. Andy Reidís tenure as the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles is (at most) 9 games from being over. Same goes for offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg and defensive coordinator Todd Bowles. The Philadelphia Eagles will not make the playoffs this year. Foles starting will allow GM Howie Roseman (if he keeps his job) to evaluate his play over the final 9 games of the season to see if the Eagles need to draft a quarterback in the first round next year. If Foles performs well, the team will head into next season with him entrenched as the starter alongside a new head coach and two new coordinators. If he doesnít, the new coaching staff will bring a highly drafted QB prospect with them. Either way, things will look a lot different next season."

Either the walrus has finally faced reality, or someone in the front office (lurie) has told him to bench the dog killing felon.

The stupidest thing the Eagles ever did was to pin their hopes on a GD POS thug who thought savaging the hell out of innocent animals was more important than concentrating on his career. That should have been a big red flag that ol' ookie didn't have the intelligence it would take to efficiently run an NFL offense and take it to the next level. His stupidity limits him and the stupidity of an NFL franchise to have not only signed him but place their hopes on him is equally stupid. The Eagles are now getting everything they deserve.
