Another example of an overpaid pro athlete with too much money and too little brains....with all the god given ability this guy had he could have rewrote records in the NFL IF he would have worked on refining his skills instead he ran this illegal nonsence and hung with his thug friends.....i mean whats the deal today all thses high OVER paid people PLAYING a game for a living and they still manage to screw them sleves up.....and as far as the race card...i dont remember any white athletes getting in trouble lately......of course the steroid thing hit home on both sides of the card...but it was in pursuit of on the field excellence........Vick got what he deserved and i hope the NFL bans him from the league

I think blacks are being judge by the white mans standards. We weren't brought up the same and we want ever be the same. The things we were brought up doing for entertainment or sport are totally different from things a white person may do. I TOTALLY AGREE. People are missing the BIGGER picture here. Vick was a role model to every kid to wear not only a VT tee, but also an Atlanta Falcons tee. Wow, I thought we were more educated and so far past the race, religion and every other rediculous outcry.

He did the crime, he now has to pay the price. Not one single person said anything about how much he denied the situation until his 'friends' began turning on him. Even after the judge suggested that he apologize to the kids who look up to him...he sends his attorney.

Unfortunately I think he will get out early...many people who commit crimes get out early...but if his fans don't follow him...I am not surprised. He does not appear to care. Secondly, I spoke to my son about his 'idol' and he chose to not to look up to Vick...for what he has done. My son is no fool and he sees no color, race, religion, etc. He is a kid looking for good role models. Vick has given that up for my son.

I believe this also, Ted Bundy, Jeffery Dahmer, other serial killers who desecrated the bodies of the victims they killed all began their sickness with the torture & killing of animals. I know after a bloody death match Vick got aroused. Like his buddy Deion Sanders said he had a PASSION for dog fights. His father said Mike likes to see dogs bleed, There is a warped sexual connected between Vick & his 7 year bloodfest, why else would he have risked losing it all. I don't think he was in it for the gambling since he pocketed the whole thing, it was something sinister sick & deep rooted.
