Cobbs is money whenever he gets an opportunity. He could probably play safety effectively too...in an emergency. Ginn, explosive, but ALWAYS ALWAYS heading to the sidelines. Mentally I have my doubts about the guy who tattooed is draft # BEFORE he underachieved.

Nate Jones --- what took them so long?-- he's clearly better than Joey Thomas overall. they knew this guy from Dallas. a real enigma that he was below Joey Thomas for one game on the depth chart after the latter had been cut and on the street for months. And, Jason Allen -- the best athlete of the 3 -- is apparently toast with this staff due to inconsistent production.

As for CC -- who knows? But, Derek Smith is old but no slouch. He's Seau like in his workout ethic and prep and close to Zach in his run stopping ability. CC better get on the field Sunday if at all possible.

This Nate Jones seems to be the real deal, but I still say we need W.Allen in there on sunday. I called Allens number somewhere around game 4 and he hasnt let us down since. Will Allen who? Thats right, hes our own version of a shutdown corner... We will win this game as long as we dont shoot ourselves in the foot more than twice...GO PHINS!!!

Good call on Derek Smith. It's great that he was available to us so late in the season.

Jason Allen is getting hosed. When he's on the field, he's great. The "emergence" of Nate Jones is surprising and I hope he keeps up the good work.

If Illinois' Vontae Davis is still available come draft day next year, I'd be feeling great about he and Will Allen being being our top CBs. Nate Jones looks nice at the nickle. Yeremiah is great at SS, and I think Jason Allen's niche is at FS, over Renaldo Hill. Jason has the gifts that Renaldo hasn't.

Our Rushing D is ranked a respectable #10, while our Passing D is ranked a horrible #25. We need help in our D secondary!!! What say you, man?

GO PHINS!!! ROCK THE JETS!!!

Im with you on bringing in the rookie, never heard of him but if you say hes good I'll take your word for it... Remember early on we were calling for J.Allen? We finally got to see him get more playing time, but at the wrong position. I agree, next season they need to put him at FS and just leave him there... Also, I did not realize our pass D was ranked so poorly... They have been playing lights out these past 2 months and hardly ever get torched anymore, but yeah I guess they still give up to much of the short and medium stuff. So I hope if we do get this kid he is ready to play with the big boys from day 1...GO PHINS!!!

Me too, Ocala Howie. I hope that if we get Vontae Davis that he's ready to play with the BIG BOYS from day 1... I think he will. He declared early, which means he could be a very hot commodity come draft day. Should he be on the board when we're up, I hope we pick him.

If you didn't know, he's the younger brother of SF 49ers TE Vernon Davis, but that's totally irrelevant.

GO PHINS!!!

Both teams suck. Jets lose to the sorry Seahags and the mighty Dolphins play a scoring fest with a 2-11 team and their rookie QB. Anyone from the AFC Least will never see the Super Bowl, greatest embarrassment in NFL history, cant wait to watch it happen!

Over achievers..."But we made the playoffs"...ok, lmao.

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Virgo

If the December sales are calling you, you'd better work out a budget before you leave the house. Otherwise, you'll be tempted to use your credit card first and only consider the cost of your purchase later on. Even so, you could track down some great bargains now, provided you don't get carried away and buy items that you don't really want simply because you're astonished by the amount of money you'll save in buying them. But you'll save even more money if you don't buy them!
