The post-Katrina version of Joe Horn is more confident than brash. No need to plant a cell phone in a Georgia Dome goalpost and preen for the television cameras.

WELL, HOPEFULLY HE'S A DIFFERENT PLAYER NOW AND HE'LL BE A TEAM PLAYER. WHEN HE FIRST CAME HERE WITH COACH HASLETT HE WAS A TEAM LEADER AND ALL AROUND GOOD GUY ON THIS TEAM, I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPEN AFTER THOSE FIRST COUPLE OF YEARS BUT LET'S HOPE HE'S A DIFFERENT PERSON THIS TIME AROUND WITH YOU GUYS.......JUST KEEP HIM ON THE BENCH WHEN WE PLAY YOU GUYS. I KNOW HE'S LOOKING FORWARD TO THOSE TWO GAMES. WHEN HE'S LOOKING TO MAKE A POINT HE CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS.

As a Saints fan I wish Joe nothing but misery as a Falcon. As a football fan, I love the way Joe showed up on Sundays ready to play. Joe was our most consistant receiver for many years. I have some disagreement with a poster that said Joe had an affair with Roaf's wife. That wasn't him, it was Joe Johnson. I can see how he was mistaken. Both being black and both named Joe. As far as Joe not being a team player please tell me how he is not. He restructured his contract several times in order for the Saints to sign several players to help this team. People may not like him but he has always been the team player, at least in front of the cameras. Joe did alot to help New Orleans before and after Katrina. And for that I will always root for Joe Horn except two or three times a year. Saying all that I hope the Falcon fans enjoy his 3 or 4 games he will play next season. He is def a vast improvement over any receiver the Falcons have maybe excluding Crumpler. But he is oft injured and I don't see anyother way he will be next year. He will not be your savior.
