Lesie Frazier is the wrong coach to begin with.
The team needs a hothead with a short fuse and low boiling point roaming the sidelines jumping up and down and hollering heavy profanity at game officials.
This is what wins football games.
Vikings have LAST place talent we said it before the year. The aftermath of the draft was the Luck photo. You tried to get me to take it down meaning you knew I knew the Vikings would be in the SUCK FOR LUCK sweepstakes. The players make the coach. Belichek was a loser until the Patriots, when he acquired great players.

Speilman is the loser who is responsible for the Vikings roster Frazier is your scapegoat.

Not a 100% sure that benching McNabb is the answer. If we put in Ponder, who is he going to throw to? Patience and persaverence is what the team needs at this time. Then if we go 0-10, then put Ponder in and see if we do need to draft Luck next year?

Also if the offensive line is as bad as many here believe it is putting in a rookie in could be a mistake.

Furthermore, the season isn't over yet. Don't get me wrong I don't invision the Vikings making it to the Super Bowl, the NFC Championship, the Division title or even a wild card. But all is not lost.

Work on the team by identifying weak areas. Then go to the waiver wire and look for replacements for those areas. WR, OL, DL, CB are all areas that can be upgraded. Then what cannot be filled through free agency, we'll have a better picture of what needs to be drafted next year.

Until then just remember that this isn't the Vikings year. Enjoy the season....

Mags, I don't see any way the current Vikings getting playing time could make the postseason. We could try to give some other Vikings a try & see if the whole improves with some young & hungry parts. There's a bunch of young guys who can be played & they are potentially the future. Giving them experience makes the future brighter.

But who knew a 6th round QB would become a perennial Pro Bowl QB winning Super Bowls. Even the Pats passed on him 5 times in that draft so I doubt that Belichick even knew what he really drafted at that time.

But you are correct, Speilman stinks...but Frasier isnt impressing either with his preseason campaign speeches of being in the mix. Makes you wonder if he really knows his level (or lack ther of) roster talent as a coach....

No one likes to throw in the towel but this season is a wash with at the most 4-5 wins. As far as hitting the waiver wire, they have tried that but there is no talent out there to help out at WR/OL...example OT Charlie Johnson...

With Peyton Manning in shambles you have to wonder why the Colts drafted a replacement rnd 1 then released Johnson...

Strong O-lines don't grow on trees. You need a strong O-line coach like Alex Gibbs. What you are saying is Cowher is good at the minutia if you think he built those lines; minutia is not the responsibility of a head coach. He'd be a great d-line coach like he was in cleveland, but those days are gone
