Manningham was very inconsistent with the Giants and was considered to be an underachiever. This signing may or may not be a good thing for S.F. He had a big game in the Super Bowl, but he has also had his share of disappointing moments and if not for a season ending injury to Dominick Hixon, he would have been the number four receiver for the Giants. He is always a threat to go deep, but his pass patterns are very inconsistent and he drops too many passes.
