Not even an official NFL receiver and already a diva.

Crab is getting some really bad advice from his has been NFL player cousin. No chance he will go higher and/or get paid more next year if he lays out due to his foot injury at the end of last season and his lack of enthusiasm for playing after a national championship was not going to happen. I am guessing late second or early third round at the best next year and millions of $ lost forever. My advice: ditch your wannabe agent cousin come out and prove your worth this year and take your medicine.

This joker is already causing a riff. I really hope the 49ers let him go. He is a diva and for not even play one game in the NFL is acting like a T.O., a Deon Sanders, or a Ricky Williams. Get rid of this jack ass.

all these rookies are making way more than they should but i understand where crabtree is coming from. all he wants is what the other receivers comparible to him have gotten.if they wont pay him he needs to talk to jerry jones

Further reason why the next collective bargining agreement between the NFL and the Players Assocation must include a rookie salary cap like in the NBA.

You need to understand what Crabtree is demanding. The 49ers are offering him money that a 1st round 10th pick is worth, which is more than the 11th pick but less than the 9th pick. Crabtree, however, believes the Raiders screwed up and should have selected him as the 7th pick instead of passing him over. As a result, the prima donna wants to be paid like he was the 7th pick instead of the 10th pick that he is.

Now I'm not a 49ers fan by a long shot, but if they cater to this idiot's demands, the Niners will set a precedence for future draftees to come that they be paid above those selected before them. Of course the Keyshawns, Deions, and Irvins of the world are saying "pay the man". They're all from the same sorority of prima donnas!
