Steelers' 08 draft class could still blossom

Bailey has been very good on special teams, but a reserve linebacker winning this award wouldn't appear to reflect kindly on a draft class some are labeling the biggest bust since Ryan Leaf.

Its way too early to call this class a bust, as this draft was not untilized for any immediate need. Looking back, the Steelers at least in recent memory have not beed bad enough where they needed that immediate impact player.

Mendenhall and Sweed were drafted for the future, and its much too early to tell if the others like Davis will make an impact in years to come.
