Michael Vick has lost more-than millions of dollars, prestige, million dollar endorsements deals, and the love of hundreds of thousands football fans on Sunday afternoon. He has lost the respect of millions of Americans who will forever remember his destructive behavior and actions against helpless animals.

He had reached the top of that most elusive mountain called fame and success. That mountain has been even more difficult for people of color to achieve and therefore his fall from grace was downright stupid!

He cannot blame race on his actions and poor judgment and therefore should leave civil rights organizations alone. He made the situation that will forever hang above him like a dark cloud even after his football career is long over he will be remembered for this sad incident.

For a man who was one of only a handful of Black men throughout NFL history to actually lead a professional football team his actions in the dog fighting scandal was shocking from the perspective of the PhD scholar to the common man and women on the street.

Even professional public relation experts informed Mr. Vick that his career could potentially be over because of the love Americans had for their pets. There was no way that they could spin this.

Men and women throughout this country and the world itself were stunned upon hearing and seeing the results of his off field antics. A recent study revealed that most Americans were more concerned about the protection and treatment of animals under the care of humans then the plight of the homeless. Case in point many men and women will call local animal shelters when they see an animal in distress, while ignoring many other situations that surround their environment.

Michael Vick’s plight is even more reprehensible because his violent actions were against defenseless and helpless animals whose fate was death no-matter the outcome of their dog-fight. Even a dog who was winning would one day lose and therefore earn the death penalty.

Now with July rapidly approaching and his impending release is becoming more eminent there are shouts from many deluded Michael Vick fans to let him play, while animal organizations and their supporters are screaming to the NFL not to reinstate him until his entire probationary period is completed and he undergoes a complete mental evaluation. There is no middle ground in this debate in a battle that will take no prisoners.

NFL officials are worried about their already tarnished image and are wondering outloud about how the American public will react to their decision regarding any decision they make regarding Mr. Vick’s career.

Give us names the people who the players you have mentioned have been convicted of murdering. Go ahead, I'm waiting--

Drugs? You want to compare what someone chooses to do to themselves, to a man who starved, fought, drowned, hung, electrocuted, and beat to death 100's of dogs for over 7 years for his entertainment??

Talking about issues, you have several. Who thinks animals are better than humans?? But just for your information, "animal lover", any woman who is being abused by a man has the ability to call the police or LEAVE, any stripper who is being abused by a patron has the ability to call the police for help or LEAVE. Did the dogs Vick mutilated and tortured have that same option?? NO, they didn't.

Get over yourself. From reading your post, I would venture to say, NO, you aren't as valuable as ONE of the dogs Sick Vick mutilated and tortured. Human or not, you're an idiot that is wasting oxygen, if you don't understand why Vick is one of the most hated people in the US today.

Yea I call you names. And yes, after that ridiculous post you made, CLAIMING to be an animal lover but just can't understand why many of us feel as if Prick Vick doesn't belong in the spotlight, EVER again--Then let me tell you the truth--If you were drowning and a pit bull was drowning right beside you and I KNEW you were the idiot that made the previous post-- I'd let you sorry azz drown and save the dog for SURE--BELIEVE IT.

Got to resort to nasty bestiality accusations, now do you?? No surprise that you're a Vick azzlicker. Most of them are vulgar and illiterate as well.

And one more thing, I don't give a shyt who you are or WHAT you feel, it is very obvious that you are a brain damaged freak.

He may have served his time in jail, but should never be a part of a fan based enterprise, EVER EVER again. You bet he has changed huh? How many felons have you ever met that being behind bars a few months "changed" them?? You don't starve, fight, drown, electrocute, hang, and beat to death dogs for your fun for 7 or MORE years of your life and just CHANGE, idiot. It doesn't happen, and if you REALLY believe it does, then you are not just an idiot, but a pathetic idiot at that.

Dude, your logic is seriously warped and your ability to rationalize is pitiful. You use the fabricated statement that "they let murderers play in the NFL" as if that should be justification as to why vick should now be allowed. First of all scotty, what convicted murderers are now playing in the NFL. Now we can't include a player who was convicted of manslaughter because by definition that implies the unlawful killing of one human by another without express or implied intent to do injury, i.e. an accident. And vick's fighting, killing, and torture of innocent domesticated dogs wasn't an "accident" was it? So you need to present examples of current NFL players who willfully and deliberately committed murder with the intent to do so in order to create validity to your statement that "they let murderers play in the NFL".

Now just for laughs, let's say the NFL did let people who commit first degree, second degree, or felony murder play in the NFL. Am I correct in assuming that is your "reasoning" as to why vick should be allowed to return to the NFL? Do you really think that your perceived greater vileness of one crime to another make the lesser crime any less repugnant than it already actually is?

Your inane argument is tantamount to someone who is convicting of raping a child saying "Well the guy down the street actually killed a kid" and using that as an excuse to minimize the degeneracy of what he did. Are you really not able to realize the idiocy of your stance?

I'm not even going to go into your childish comparison of NFL players who use drugs (drugies as you call them) and why their continued participation in the league should justify the maggot vicks return. That's too ignorant to even bother with.

BTW scotty, the only ones who piss and moan about animals being better THAN humans are simple minded dullards. You're not one of those are you dude?

Kind of makes you wonder what the little fire tech watches, reads about, or does in his spare time doesn't it? The beastiality aspect comes so quickly, instinctively, and reflexively to some of these vick athletic supporters. The details they use, such as the "peanut butter", are really disturbing. Nasty stuff and you have to feel so bad for the animals they subject to their perversions.

Now little scotty, again you demonstrate your inadequacies in participating in a simple debate. No one said you didn't have a right to your opinion, only that the reasoning and rationale (and I hate to use those terms when discussing your thought process LMAO) were defective. You can't present one crime and compare it to another in a childish attempt to minimize the one that you consider to be lesser. See how easy that is?

Now run along and play with your matches scotty and oh, don't forget to bring some water.
We wouldn't want you to have an "accident".:-)

I went to school here in Newport News with Vick at Warwick High. He is as stupid as it comes. Being out of the NFL for just 1 year alone will mess you up even if you were great, which Vick was not. The only successful player to ever sit out just 1 year was John Riggins who returned and won. Vick and his whole family here along with Iverson are dopes. Tomlin is from down the street but he went to an all white college and studied hard, different. As did Dwight Stephenson from Hampton/NN. My advice to any NFL team, forget him.

No little scotty, that is not the debate, that is your "opinion". See, you can't even discern the difference between a debate and an opinion.

Now scotty, don't think I am going to let you off the hook so easily relative to the senseless analogies you used in a simplistic attempt to justify your argument as to why the maggot vick should be allowed to continue his career in the NFL.

Remember those questions you were asked before and are now conveniently avoiding like the plague. How many convicted murderers are currently playing in the NFL? Does a player's personal use of a drug equate to an at least 7 year long covert felonious career than consisted of gruesomely fighting, killing, and torturing man's best friend? And remember now scotty, you're a professed animal lover right? LMAO

Scotty, put away your little squirt bottle for a minute and answer those questions so I don't think you're simply another misguided jocksniffer whose real purpose on here is to express his deluded love and thug worship of a sadistic and inhumane POS.

I'm tryin' to work with ya here fireboy but you're making it kind of difficult.

Forget about the death dogs stuff....
He is NOT a good QB.
Got it?.

He never get what it takes to be a good QB.

I will always love Montana or Elway even if I find one day that they eat cats on breakfast, doesn't matter. What really matters is football, that's all.
