He's good enough to make the Patriot's OL, but ours is too solid to need him?????

Oh, I forgot: we have Chris Chester. We gave up a 2nd round pick for him. He must be good then, right?

Why did we cut him? Why did we do it right after last season? I was surpised when it happened and it ruined my day.

now we're really gonna see if the Bozos on here, and you know who you are Truth and AngryDragQueen, if they are right when they say the OL is why Brady is so good and that Kyle would be just as good with his line. If he (Brady) still shows brilliance behind Mike Flynn, then Boller is bad, was bad and always will be bad period. I say Boller would have happy feet if he stood behind a 5' concrete wall. Brady will be tested but I say he still manages to be a top tier QB. He has the talent and mindset Boller will never have.

Flynn was not going to beat out Brown, Chester, or Yanda - so no place for him on our O-line. And he would not take the money that he now has to take with the Pat's (veteran minimum) to stay with Ravens. So he was cut. It's a business. That's what happens. Plus, the Pat's are desparate.

And Ravens are done with their O-line. I look for 1-2 new players prior to the first game of the season to be on the roster.

This is great news for the opponents of the Patriots. Flynn will be stepping on Brady's toes in no time!

GHT - that's rocket science now - picking Brady over Boller six years after the fact. Many GM's passed over Brady six times, so that shows you what an inexact process the draft is.

The Patriots utilized a method of veteranism to pull themselves to the top of the NFL mountain in past years. Last year, however, viewers could clearly see that the Patriots defense was old and that they will have to get younger fast. While they have drafted some young talent on the defense recently, that mentality is still with them. they recently signed John Lynch as well who can still hit hard, but .....who are Lynch and Harrison going to keep from going over the top of them. They are far from young anymore and it showed last year when we saw harrison get trucked several times.

Now, they bring in Mike Flynn who, most Ravens fans will know by now, should not have kept his job over Casey Rabach who was the better center at the time. The only reason Flynn did keep it was because of Billick's loyalty to his veterans and the fact that they had just given Flynn a new contract. They didn't expect Rabach to emerge as he did and didn't pull the trigger on keeping him around. That mistake seems larger now. Consider this, if we'd kept Rabach, he would be our starting center and a good one. Brown would be our Right guard, Yanda could have stayed at Right tackle. Even though that isn't his natural position, he would still be the best right tackle we have. Then, Gaithers and Terry(who is a natural LT) could battle it out for the LT position. Their injuries may fog that image now, but if you consider it without the current injuries, you may see a much better offensive line than what we have now.

I agree with most of that, other than Chester.

Flynn wasnt the most physically gifted player, but he made up for it with field smarts.

Chester has already shown that he cant play on the line and be effective. The other funny thing about Chester is this.

Chester played TE in college, yet we are converting a LB into a TE???

To me, its just another sign that Chester isnt worth a damn.

The other thing I can't understand is why we arent going after more people? We need help all over the place.

Marcus Polard is out there and he could help out at TE and Joe Horn would be a huge upgrade over Clayton or Williams.

Anyway, hope Truth is right about getting a couple more lineman....cause we need them...BAD.

no, the point has nothing to do with the draft. The reference was to Brady apparently having a sub par line this year due to injuries. Let's just see how Brady performs under adverse circumstances. I say he still plays better than Kyle will ever play even if Kyle had a brilliant line. YOU are the one with the continued excuses that Kyle's numbers are down because of a bad OL and that if he had Brady's line, he'd be a superstar. We'll see what Brady does this season under what appears to be a patchwork line

OK, everyone knows that anyone from the Baltimore Gayvens totally sucks ass!!!!!!!!!! They are nothing more then the suckey stolen Cleveland Browns of the early to mid 1990's.

And just for the record, next season the Baltimore Ravens will have the worst record in the NFL since Joe Flacco is the only QB the Pats defense has ever even been able to do anything against.

Hey Billick, you do realize that you were fired for the exact same reason Belitits was fired from coaching this exact same team in the mid 1990's when they were the Cleveland Browns.

Billick didn't win that super bowl, Scott Pioli won that super bowl by assembling a team with every thing but a QB.

Nobody from the stolen Cleveland Clowns is good enough to make any NFL team. Not even the 18* and DONE without CHEATING Patriots who for the record like the Baltimore Ravens will not make the playoffs next season. But sadly as much as I hate to say it the New England Patsies are a better team then the Baltimore Ravens. But the Colts kick all their asses.

The Baltimore Ravens or should I say stolen Cleveland Browns or how bout Stolen Cleveland Clowns O-line is going to be so bad without Johnathan Ogden next season.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Aries

Someone wants to go their own way today and they won't care whose feathers they ruffle in the process. It's a lunar eclipse at the Full Moon in Cancer, so let them get on with it. The last thing you should do now is to hang on to their coat-tails or do anything else that will make them feel restricted. Make it plain that you've got your own fish to fry, thank you very much. And try not to let it stop you enjoying yourself. Have a great night!
