McNair??--Why is it that Newsome cannot see what everyone else sees is that - he was not able to play behind our offense line-- that we need a quarterback who will be mobile-- If he plays-- He is a statue and will again be killed--He will play 5 games as a Max.--Newsome has not developed a quarterback and this has cost us dearly-- defense is nice- but unless u are playing a superbowl where the officials decided to let them play-- and made no calls-- u have to win on offense. Please do not use a #1 on defense use it to get a homerun wide receiver or a q. to develop--Last year every analysis - whatever this means-said if Ravens had a q- that they would have won 2 more superbowls--why can't Newsome see this as well

You've got to be kidding!!!
I almost sold my PSL's last year for that very same reason. The Ravens need to wake up. McNair only wants to collect a pay check.

To his credit, McNair played well (not great, but better than we have had) in 2006 and then was hurt after the first snap last season. If he is healthy beginning this season, I think McNair could breath some life back into our offense - especially with our new play callers. Cameron has said he is going to focus a lot of the offense on McGahee. That will ease the pressure off of McNair quite a bit. Last season we passed way too much for our personnel and had more sacks and fumbles as a result. I honestly believe we have something for the future in Troy Smith. That said, I wouldn't mind keeping him off of the field for just a little bit longer while he develops some more. We showed pretty good patience with Smith last season. Maybe he is ready to start after training camp. Maybe he could use some more time to become a pro quarterback. I just dont want to see him rushed and ruined. For now, a healthy (and I do stress healthy) McNair is ok with me.

Ozzie will not let him play if he doesn't think he can compete at a high level.

With that line you need a scrambler, Troy Smith is your guy. McNair could play well behind the Patriots line, Tom Brady can stand there until someone gets open. The Ravens line, it's run for your life baby, he's a Vick type anyway, that type of QB destroys defensive game plans because they produce plays with their legs and defenses can't plan for that.

Vick? All Vick ever did was hold the Falcons back. Inaccurate quarterbacks can't survive in the NFL no matter what they can do with their legs. Smith will not succeed unless he drastically improves his accuracy. Once teams put a spy on him and he can't run he'll throw pick after pick.

LOL @ Ozzie and his comment about WheelChair McNair. The more I see his decisions, the more I think he took too many hits when he played in the NFL.

Why are they keeping Suggs? Doesn't he know he would be much happier wearing the Brown and Orange with Derek Andersen, Jamal Lewis and Phil Savage and having a bright future rather than a dark one?

GO BROWNS!!!

PS - Ray Lewis is a murderer

A real Raven fan would never say something this stupid.Instead of selling your tickets you should have your PSL's revoked. A real fan sticks with their team through the good times as well as the bad times.
Don't ever call yourself a Raven Fan.

Cleveland fan, yes ray is a murderer. Since he started playing football he has murdered opposing QB's and running backs. More than likely some offensive lineman would say the same thing. By the end of the game, most running backs are so beat up,they probably feel like dying. As far as Cleveland future with lewis and anderson, we'll see. Anderson lost the pro bowl game for the AFC. He truly stunk up the field. As for lewis, he got his contract renewed and normally he has a bad year after that.

Daily Horoscope for December 7

Capricorn

The detail-oriented Moon in Virgo is extremely supportive and helpful, so it feels good to know that you can count on some support. You may know just where the help is coming from, but with communicative Mercury all over transformative Pluto in your sign, maybe you're being looked after by your very own guardian angel. Don't let this encourage you to take foolish risks or overstep the mark.
