Bob Sanders is the player I've ever watched he is the best, he is number 1 in my eyes, and that will never change.

My hope is that the Pats manage to hang in long enough to get humiliated by the Colts ----again, but Jacksonville will probably eliminate them before we get the chance, hope not. Maybe the Ravens can give Pats some warm up practice sessions, or wait, that could cost 'em big. Pats--get ready for some 'football', there won't be any 'squeakin' by in the playoffs.

This is very old, but kinda fun.

How about the guy who was met at the pearly gates by St. Peter. As the two of them were walking through heaven the guy pointed to a compact football player wearing #21 tackling everything in sight, "I didn't know Bob Sanders was even ill!"

St. Peter started laughing, "Oh that's god, he just thinks he's Bob Sanders."

Well said and may I add that when the colts left Baltimore in the middle of the night and moved to indy Mr. Unitas specifically requested that his stats NOT be included in the indy press guide.

Did the irsay family show any respect for that entirely reasonable request?

naaahhh

And NONE of the original BALTIMORE COLTS wanted to have anything to do with the indianapolis colts.

Read -'Johnny U - The Life and Times of John Unitas'

If the irsay family had left the name and the colors in Baltimore where they belong there would not be this lingering bitterness, and you indy fans would have had the opportunity to name your new team and choose its colors, instead of using the name and colors of a team that LITERALLY snuck out of town in the middle of the night.

"GET OVER IT!!!" I can hear you say.

Ok but try this - 6 years ago jim irsay son of bob threatened to move the colts to L.A. at the end of the 2006 stadium unless the city (aka the taxpayers) would build him a new stadium - check your Indy Star archives. That means that if the city hadn't caved your colts would have won last year's Super Bowl and would have left town and they would have gotten their rings as members of the "World Champion Los Angeles Colts".

I'm not really knocking you or your team (well ok - maybe a little but that's to be expected!!) I am just telling you that every time irsay says "your" indianapolis colts" he has two fingers crossed or maybe toes or something.

And all you Pats haters, try this - The Patriots play in a stadium built with private funds.

BTW - Congrats to Bob Sanders for his well-earned contract and here's hoping all us classless Patriot fans and our classless, morally inferior team can congratulate him in person in a few weeks.
