Comments by McDaniels that all options are open re: Cutler does not sound like a person who would make only a passive attempt to get Cassel.

One might question Belichick's honesty or purpose in making this statement.

Leave Bill alone. He is too busy right not searching for the next F/A victim for his Patriots retirement home.

McDaniels already told Cutler to his face in the 2nd meeting that he wanted Cassel. He also told him he would do anything to 'make the team better'. What does that say for what he thought about Cutler vs. Cassel? On top of all this McDaniels admitted to reporters that the Broncos were unfortunately late in 'coming to the dance' concerning getting Cassel. No question, McDaniels wanted Cassel so bad he could taste it.

It's natural for every NFL coach to want Cassel...he's the second best QB in the league after Brady...Tomlin wanted him so bad he could taste it as well...but only one team could get him...

The Denver Broncos might have wanted Matt Cassel to replace Jay Cutler, but then again after they watch Cassel under perform in a Chiefs jersey with out Belitits they might not.

Hey Skidzy!!! Where ya been dude. Ya kinda disappeared from the scene as the season went along there. Don't blame you one bit.
Tomlin wanted Cassel so bad... and then he woke up from the nightmare. Looked over on his dresser and saw that sparkling Lombardi trophy provided by Big Ben. Yes we have crazy dreams but overall life is good.
