I never said you was wrong, I don't think any of us deny Ponder's two years has been unsatisfactory. I myself poined out that Ponder's yards per-game needs to improve. But I also see & so does the experts see that Ponder can make all the throws & his first year he had to step in for a inapt McNabb & front line without a LT & OG along with no one to throw too. I think it's one reason why McNabb looked so bad. Now in Ponder's second year there still wasn't any wide receivers to throw to & he had a little over 2,900 yards, Better year but not good. I think Jennings was right on when saying Ponder needs to trust himself & stop the double pumps before he throws giving defenders time to adjust. Jennings said Ponder needs to trust his first decision & if he does he can take that next step to be a franchise quarterback & I totally agree.

NO EXCUSES. First four games when Ponder was playing good ball the receivers were no problem. When he turned into statistically the worst QB in football during a eight game stretch all of a sudden the receivers became a problem. Jared Allen is saying NO MORE EXCUSES!!

True Harvin was the leading receiver in the NFL But heres where you lose your argument, The Vikings other receivers Other then Harvin the Vikes other leading receiver was TE Kyle Rodolph that had a year total of 493 yards. The only time he played good was in the redzone. The real point on Ponder is He had a leading receiver up to the time that receiver got hurt, Not bad for a guy you keep knocking & calling the worst QB in football. I don't see Cam Newton's having a leading receiver hmm I have never seen a so called worst quarterback with a leading receiver Why is that? not in the history of the game has there been a quarterback that was the worst QB playing & then have that same QB have a leading receiver Why is that, Could Ponder be the first?( Think about about that.)
