The Jets have one of the best defenses in the league!
Are you even a football fan, cause if you are, you know nothing about sports apparently.
Thanks for looking stupid.

Yeah...I don't think so. Cassel is an average QB at best. Brady makes this team legendary. Besides, no team would offer anything close to a Herchel Walker deal. Stop this nonsense. Why not trade Garnett and Josh Beckett while were at it?

How was that Jets defense against the Broncos at home today? That's what I thought...
I'm sorry but how in the hell can the writer compare Brady to Viniteri and Ty Law? Tom Brady is THE face of the Patriots Football team. Who does everyone remember the most on their favorite teams? The QB. Right or wrong, that's how it is. Who has 3 SB rings and another appearance? Brady. Who has 2 Superbowl MVP's? Tom Brady. Who has a League MVP? Tom Brady. Who is a shoe-in for the HOF? Tom Brady. Who had arguably the best season for a QB ever? Tom Brady.
Who has restructured his contract to allow players like Randy Moss to be signed? Tom Brady. Who still has 5-7 more years left in his body? Tom Brady. Who's got over 24 4th Quarter come back drives? Tom Brady.
This is the funniest blog I've ever had the displeasure of reading. Take Moss and Welker away, and see just how well Cassell does behind center. Brady's won 3 superbowl rings with throw-away receivers(Reche Caldwell from San Diego anyone?). You want to hang your opinion on 2x 400 yard back to back games against mediocre passing defenses? Brady could have had 10 games with 400 yard passing games last year if they were interested in running up the score.
What a joke...

What were you watching last year? The Pats were running up the score all throughout last season. Keeping their starters in the games all the way to the end in blowouts to set records. They burned themselves out doing so. As a result, they peaked mid year instead of peaking for the Super Bowl. Yeah, I would say that decision was a joke.

I did. Certainly makes my argument look foolish, doesn't it....LOL

The thing is, I never questioned who was a better QB. Heck, even I'm not that stupid. My point is, this team has many, many holes, that need to be filled. Losing Cassel for nothing won't help the cause. If he's good enough to score points and lead the offense, you can get enough back for Brady to maybe add a cornerback who can actually cover someone, and an offensive tackle that might be able to block a speed rusher and protect the QB.

Remember, in Brady's last complete game, he was pulverized by the Giants defense, and even the Chargers kept him in check in the AFC title game. Teams got wise to the Pats offense, realizing you can rush the passer effectively. Doesn't matter who the QB is...if you can't get your defense off the field, and if your O-Line can't protect the pocket, you're not going to win Super Bowls.

How is he "being exposed"? By sitting home watching the games on tv because of a pretty devastating injury? Are you saying Cassell is as good as Brady because of "the system"? You're clearly insane.

I hate you for writing this column. I don't know how you could possibly be a professional sports journalist. Your talking about trading a first ballot Hall of Famer in the prime of his career to open space for a quarterback who will be decent at best who has yet to prove that he can face adversity. Matt Cassel can't carry Tom Brady's jockstrap.

P.S. Montana was washed up when the 49ers traded him. What did he ever do with the Chiefs.

From the inception of the AFL/NFL merger in 1970 to now, the Kansas City Chiefs have won a grand total of three playoff games.

Two of those three came under Joe Montana in his first season with the team in 1993. Since Joe Montana retired, the Kansas City Chiefs have not won another playoff game.

Even in his twilight, Joe proved to be the best quarterback that franchise has had since Len Dawson.

You cant talk about that nice man who writes wonderful things about me. Now really, he is not a real Patriots fan and is getting what he wants by coming up with off the wall statements to get people riled up. I'm hoping thats what he's doing because, otherwise, he is a moron.
