I too have reservations about Cutler; remember his silly shouting match w Philip Rivers? I think he's a bit of a prima dona. But what most everyone fails to recognize about the current Denver situation is that Cutler isn't angry because he was "shopped", but because McDaniels had previously told him that he wasn't in any way interested in Cassel. It's about being lied to, read Cutler's comments.

Always with the dum quick fix, if the retard can hack it in denver what will he do when he throws 3 ints in a game and nyc media has his little wanabe but for breakfeast , lunch and dinner please leave that peice of trash in denver . build around the qbs we have . we drafted a guy in the second round and after one season you guys are trying to throw him to the dogs just because he was running for his life in 07 behind that crappy o line . I can recall same thing said about chad but yet he comes back to nyc and wax our buts at home

Now what happens if they get cuttler and he goes 4-12 , throws 24 tds and 30 ints what will you say next year , we need a qb we need to draft a qb . Cuttler is not evean proven how many play off games has he been to please. he couldnt evean keep his team in fist place just like farve . STop trying to take other peoples trash. IF he was so good why would denver think about tradeing him for a 1 hit wonder from NE

Didn't the Broncos basically tell Jake Plummer to take a hike to accommodate this guy? If so, one more reason for Denver to try and work it out with this guy if he's such an investment.
--
Jets best option, I think, is to sign Jeff Garcia and go with a faux competition in August and start with Garcia, who clearly can play and has above-average mobility. When was the last time the Jets had a QB who could scramble?

YEA thats right we fix the o-line for a pocket passing qb and you want some one who will roll himself in to a blitz imangine that . forget qb draft a fast tall wr and use what we have and i dont care what any one says about coles we do not have any one on our roster that can fill his shoes .

Ok, but so what? Cutler is just an emotional guy with some confidence problems; he still has a great arm.

Why has no one mentioned Byron Leftwich? He will fit perfectly in the type of team Ryan wants to build

You Want the guy to prove to his new coach? he doesn't have anything to prove, if you don't want him that's ok, keep that loser mentality, but I do, and 99.9% of us Jets fans want him, in a green and white uniform, and you'll see... this is the beginning of something special...

"Cutler chose to freak out that the Broncos would even ponder the idea that someone else might be worthy of consideration as their long-term quarterback."

What worthless journalistic spin.

McDaniels tried to put together a trade. He didn't sit there "pondering" the idea that it might be worth "considering" someone else - he went out and tried to GET someone else.

Criticize Cutler's reaction if you want, but at least be honest and fair about it.

Now chad is with the fish and we run the risk of gettin sweap by the pats and the fins for years to come . STOP this quick fix **** and build a dam team
no one in the Jets orgaization is 'scare' of losing to CHad's fish twice a year. His floaters over the middle will get his WR killed and the safteties can play cenerfield and pick off any Chad pass to either sideline. The formula to beat Chad in Miami is the same one that worked in NY. the guy leaves and all of a sudden it's spunn like the jets cut the next Namath

If you build it they will come.

If the Jets sign them they will suck.

Bob, yo are trly tranparent. Is Kellen Clemens a dear friend. First contine to bash Favre then say the Jets do not need this head case who threw for over 4K yards and has prvoen abilities. Please yo are really beginning to lose any journalist integrity you had left.
