Bob, I agree 100%. You need to go down the hall and explain this to Wallace the idiot.

He would probably wind up becoming one of the best quarterbacks in the history of the franchise. It's not as if this franchise has had a great history with QBs. It's not a coincidence that the guy considered the best QB in our history is the only one to win a Super Bowl. This guy is a big-time QB, while you mention his career 87 rating you fail to mention that the leading candidate to start for us came out of the same draft and is not even close to that rating. 87 is not bad for a guy with only 3 years experience.

What was Eli Manning's QB rating his first 3 years in the league?

While Cutler may be very talented & have a cannon for an arm he seems very whiney & appears to be a very loose cannon, he's been in the league for a few years now & if his feelings are hurt by the business side of football in Denver how would he react to things in the pressure cooker that is NY sports, he would make me very nervous as the QB for my team.

can you imagine what would happen if he comes to the Jets and in his first game he throws a td with two picks and the jets lose. How would he handle the media then, denver is alot different that NY boys.

Yes, in Denver they like to win games that count.

I really don't think this makes Cutler a headcase. Despite what some pundits like Golic are saying. Yes, it is a business and players get traded and discussions are had and he should get over it... BUT should he just 'get over it' when his new head coach blatantly lies to him? And then they have a meeting in which the coach doesn't make any effort to say that Cutler is his guy and he's looking forward to the season etc? I don't see how being lied to by your new coach and then having a meeting where the coach admits he lied and doesn't declare that you're his QB so he gets upset about it makes him a headcase...

In this era, when you discuss trades regarding today's athletes, you had better either get it done or have the people skills to smooth it over. Apparently, a missing link in another of the disciples.

These issues with Cutler are dwarfed by the absence of any current legitimate Jet QB candidate. Clemens, Ratliff or a 2009 drafted rookie? The Jets have assembled contender talent; they need a better QB than what they currently have. Cutler is better. Trade for him.

Actually, Cutler is right about Rivers. He's a total jerk. Rivers has a bigger ego than Ryan Leaf.

I wouldn't label Cutler a headcase. He does not trust McDaniels which is pretty easy to understand considering he lied to him flat out. If Cutler was told right from the start that the Broncs considered a Cassel trade because of familiarity with the offensive system, but thats not going to happen now and you are OUR QB we need YOU. This definately would never have gone this far. Athletes ego's are very fragile in most cases, especially with QB's, you can't hang the guy who is supposed to lead your team out to dry. Any coach should know that.

Glauber, what the hell is a "set-to"?

'So the Jets must factor in his behavior regarding his set-to with Josh McDaniels....'

Did you just make that up or something?

A head coach is supposed to be beyond reproach....especially to his players. J Mac decieved and lied to his #1 playmaker. What part of this don't you understand. He lied to Cutler!!!! And in that lie was the insinuation that Cutler wasn't the guy Mac wanted to be running his offense. If I were Cutler....I wouldn't want anything to do with Mac either. AND....where's the owner in all this mess??? He should have stepped up to the plate a long time ago....none of this should have ever happened. Cutler will never play for Mac like he did for's too bad but true. Let Cutler go......the new coach has already caused too much damage. I feel sorry for you, Denver, you thought last year was bad.

I am not a Jets or Bronco fan but whats the difference between his action and a 41 hof crying that his fomer team wants to go another direction. Farve was not much more mature last two years. I look at talent and you have two unknown guys at QB with the Jets and a guy with talent a strong arm not happy. there are two sides who knows whats in the new Bronco coaches mind. A players wants secuirity. and then before he is even wet behind the ears he wants Cassell what does that tell your current guy. He just wanted a bit of respect. The Jets could do worse then getting him if the price is right
Shut Up

Glauber, shut your stupid mouth. You're the same tool who wrote that the Giants should cut Buress then a few weeks later said they should take him back. You're a loser.

for get this jerk even if they do get him they will give up a first and a second round pic, put ratliff in and draft a wr who the heck is cuttler going to throw to if he does come. Draft a wr and build around ratliff, I dont know why jets fans like to see our players walk out the back door that we drafted , moss, chad, vilma ,jordon, robertson petekenoll , baker and if im not mistaken 4 of them where first round pics .

so you're saying that the 3 unproven guys and the draft offer a more solid grab at a guy with the IT factor? seriously? what game are you watching? this is absurd. He's proven, you go get him if you can - he's 26 - you bet the FARM on a 40 year old last year - how the hell is this not a good move - please - tell me a college kid is tougher than Cutler and a losing Clemens is too? and the NON starters have proved what? how can you argue against this? it doesn't add up.

Why the heck cant we build our own talent instead of picking other peoples garbage up. Im sick of this crap I did'nt like the farve trade to begin with . Now chad is with the fish and we run the risk of gettin sweap by the pats and the fins for years to come . STOP this quick fix crap and build a dam team

ok and who is cutler going to throw to and dont tell me JC he is not a deep threat . Yea take your chances with and unproven pats did it cowboys did it, chargers did it , steelers did it. id take my chances with an un proven any day instead of a whinny qb that thinks he is better than elway com on that retard has not been in one play off game and he thinks he is elway , yea i can see it now he throws dumb ints just like farve and the media will chew him up and spit him out .
