Watched him as a 8 yr old until early teen years, was always a class act in and out of the ring. This tragedy has only one perpetrator to blame, and that's "Alzheimer's". Look whats its done to a great American, who never hurt a soul and just wanted to entertain the masses. My condolences to the Hennig family, you are right in the way this is being handled. I have much respect for the decision you had to make.

I don't see how you could morally defend the prosecution of an elderly man with diminished mental capacity. It's absurd.

Prayers to BOTH families on this tragic incident. Perhaps these type of patients need private rooms?

I worked at friendship village for three years. This is NOT the first violent crime that has seriously injures someone in the memory care unit. Two years ago, a woman was found bloody in her blood. Of course upper management kept it hush hush, but rumors around said that another resident raped her. The family in that case did not want to press any charges either but they did not return her to friendship village to be cared for after she was released from the hospital. That incident should have been a wake up call-THEY NEED MORE STAFF ON THAT FLOOR!

I think that you'll hear from most nursing homes that they need more staff. Unfortunately, the homes can't afford to add the additional staff. Then things like this happen.

Mr Gagne was a hero to so many and did so much for wrestling. It would seem he
( many times over) earned the financial resources necessary for individual care, ideally round the clock!
