That space will reopen. The drunks in the Courthouse will need a nearby spot to slink into for liquid courage.

This doesn't look good. It could be nothing, but it doesn't look good!

Well, at least they left town on their own instead of making Dave Thune and the rest of the council work hard to chase them away like they did the Bridges. Who needs a tax base? Good Job city council!! You too, David.

I ate there once, and it was not very good.

The Bridges? Really? Get over it. I am by no means a fan of Thune and his Thunarchists, but bringing up Thune and the Bridges project about a restaurant closing is just wrong.
Does anyone else think the LOCATION in the bottom of the parking ramp is a bad spot for an upscale establishment?

Bad food with high prices, terrible service, and the atmosphere sucked.
The Minneapolis location had/has slightly better food, but the atmosphere is bizarre.

I've lived in SP my whole life and I didn't even know he had a restaurant.

This once again proves that it is never a good idea for one to be extremely arrogant and name a restaraunt after themselves, as odds are the place will underperform. Senser's has good food in my opinion, but the service has always been brutal. Let the sports people stick to sports and the restaraunt people restaraunts.

I had the displeasure of eating at Matty B's once. It was a couple of months after he opened. The food was so bad the meat still had the whip marks from were the jockey was hitting it. The place smelled of urine and vomit, and the service was none. Aside from that it wasn't to bad.

You would think Matt being a local kid who obviously eat a lot, would have seen to it that his food and service were at least half ways decent.

"The fate of the Matty B's in Minneapolis near the Metrodome remains unclear. While the phone is still in operation, numerous calls to the restaurant went unanswered."

How about heading over there to see if it's open?

Horrible place, glad to see it go. I have nothing against Matt, but the management sure was classless/clueless on service. Great location for those of us who live/work downtown, but location will never trump fine food and good service.

That location was home to one of the most popular bars in Minnesota for over 20 years. Great location, Should have served the food his mother in law serves at her Keys Restaurants.

So, you're saying that the smoking ban is to blame?
