so you would rather have career back-up, completely immobile, interception-prone gus frerotte playing this weekend? no way man. t-jack has 8 td's and 1 interception, compared to 12 td's and 15 picks for gus. young quarterbacks make mistakes, this is a fact of the NFL. sure, gus might have been an OK (at best) short-term option for the Vikes. But are you suggesting that we should call Gus the quarterback of the future? All he had to do was hand the ball off to AP, and he still racked up 15 interceptions. oh please.

if vikes win this game, it will only be because its a meaningless game for the giants, who will probably rest a lot of starters. tjoke is not an nfl qb and it will show this week.

<quoted text> Speak for yourself. He threw nice passes on seem routes. How many went to WR's? Did he look off a safety yet? TJ had a nice game...we lost....Bears won last night...deja-freaking-vu all over again...I still feel that he is in way over his head, and if they plan on using Jackson as a QB, they should explore running out of the single wing 33% of the time as he is a better RB than a QB. With nothing better in the pipe line (make a play for Cassel please..)we are stuck with this kid and the Booty patrol. There will be no Viking team in the Super Bowl for the forseeable future unfortunatly.
he has played unbelievably well these last three games and you wont even give him a chance. he has only thrown one interception this year and that was in the first two games of the year. ever since he took over at QB against detroit, he hasnt made a bad pass or bad decision yet. he was just thrown in there early in his career without a mentor like aaron rodgers and packer fans are still sticking with him. try having a little faith.

I was waiting for someone to make a really idiotic statement. Most are dumb but yours happens to top the list. I was on here yesterday sayin how I hate pissing matches, but Madden QBs who excel on VETERAN need to realize that a video game does not make you a football genius.
22 short passes? Now I'm sure you're exaggerating a little but not by much. What qualifies you as a deep pass to you? If there gonna give up the mid range pass all day I'm taking it. This is how I know you can't get past VETERAN on Madden, you think every play has to be a TD, and since you can't just throw bombs all game on ALL-PRO or ALL-MADDEN, your stuck on VETERAN.
Why did Jackson throw a bunch of short passes in 4th? Well, even a true Madden pro would know that the defense is going to play a Cover 3 or Deep coverage to protect against the long pass. You take what the defense gives you. Now of course, he could have thrown the ball deep and take the risk of interceptions or take what you can get, work down the field. Its a lose-lose with you Madden know-it-alls. He throws interceptions, he sucks. He throws the high percentage passes, works down the field methodically, scrambles around and makes plays with his feet, he sucks. He throws 7 TDs, no INTs, high competion %, he sucks.
How many fumbles did Ben Roethlisberger have on Sunday? Ahhhhhh, he sucks.
Brad Childress can't carry the football for these guys. He didn't lose the game. Anyway, whats Gus' 2-3 INTs to Jackson's 2, not 3, fumbles. AP should get cred for the other.
Hey, skip the game and stick to Madden. Your garbage at that too.
madden is the easiest game in the world to play. hell, i play it on all madden and its not even a challenge anymore. i do a fantasy draft and always draft young and am now 16-0 and about to play for the super bowl in my first season.

Jeebs: I'm sure it was someone trying to get a reaction, and I took the bait, but it was just too good to pass up. Glad you liked. Go Vikings.
