Bennett played in the shadow of Jason Witten and really did not get a fair chance to show what he could do in Dallas. He really seemed to want to come to NY. With the injuries to their TEs, he looks like a good fit. With a one year contract, the Giants are not taking that great a risk for somebody with a potential good potential upside.. He is a strong blocker which could help the Giants running game which was not so great last season and in spite of his second string status, he has averaged over 20 catches per season. Good move, Giants.
