Gah. So, based on Flacco's recent performances, he's been coached to throw to the sidelines or out of bounds. He didn't make a single throw over the middle, at least one that I remember. Even the late passes to Williams were on the outside and then Williams darted towards the middle.
And so the question is...why? Has ANY other qb in the nfl been coached to avoid three-fifths of the field? Cameron didn't turn Brees into an MVP caliber qb by telling him to use 2/5 of the field. Get real, get bold, and get going Flacco...and Cameron. To sit and think for one second that those out routes would work against the Colts is just plain ridiculous. Their entire defense might be backups and scrubs, but Dungy and his crew still coached them up enough to get them to squat out those out routes.
Get well soon Yanda. Get well faster Ravens.
