I'm not criticizing anyone but I was in Florida when this happened and "noone" had any buisness boating in the water that day or even the whole weekend!!!The wind and the waves were very strong and high over the weekend. I just hope that everyone learns from this situation to not mess with mother nature. If you are on a boat please put your life jackets on!!!! Thats what they are made for!!They can help save lives.
I hope that these people are found or at least recovered for the sake of their families.

Agree, I have a 100 ton ships license, and theres no way a rational person would go that far off shore in a 21 foot boat without at least checking the weather for 12 hours out. They should have had a Ipirb and if choosing to go that far off shore at least do it with a twin engine boat.....wonder how much this is costing us.
