Unfortunately they were Black the ones that drowned. That's why they didn't continue the search. If they're
WHITE they would still be searching for them until they were found dead or alive.

Unfortunately, our system works for theWHITE man side all the time.

Granted Marquis was an experienced boater with all of the big money that an NFL player makes why didn't he have a (EPIRB) Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon. Just doesn't make sense???? Now a three year old is left without her father and his beautiful wife, his parents and the families of his friends are left to suffer and wonder why this senseless tragedy happened! People just don't think! Just because nothing ever happened before didn't mean it would not happen. One has to always expect the unexpected!

You can get away with cutting corners many times without incident, but eventually it catches up with you. He may have been experienced, but practice doesn't always make perfect - sometimes it only makes permanent, that is if you are doing it wrong. And it's easy to get cocky too. 35 miles out makes you (and everyone on board) very vulnerable.

Why does it have to be a Black and white issue !

I guess you think the Goverment should give a check to all the blacks because of slavery too .

No, the Coast Guard called off the search for the other 3 Tuesday night. The families are still supporting a private search with planes and boats - last I heard.

Sorry, but there are 2 black and 1 white still missing...coast guard search called off. Has nothing to do with skin color!

We have SYSTEMS that work for everyone, unfortunately it is the prison system that we need for some of the black citizens...70% blacks and they put themselves there. Quit calling everything racist, you sound like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton (nuts). When you have nothing intelligent or logical to say, you pull out the racist card. Pathetic!!

I agree that with all the money they made, they didn't have a locator on them, even reasonable priced watches have them.

Tell me this. You have 4 huge guys on a tiny little boat in rough water? Why? You would think that they could have afforded a bigger boat.
