All the time boater's get excited about going fishing and launch their outboat boat and forget to put the drain plug in. While the boat is moving the water won't run in but then they stop and anchor and start fishing and don't notice that they are sinking until it's too late. I have forget the drain plug myself. Our prayers are with you, Guys !

Don't bios usually include information about one's life? I don't see anything about their wives, or children, or other accomplishments - or maybe in our warped world football is all there is. Get a reality check Mr. Editor. Quit the sensationalism and add a little humanism.

This story is so sad and tragic - it's really upset our whole family because it could have been prevented if these men would have had the proper equipment and knowledge to handle the unexpected. After researching Google I found that capsized boating accidents are very common. Maybe this is a great opportunity for someone to invent a boat that has safety features on the bottom of the boat that can aid the crew in staying out of the water and on top of the boat. Maybe add hand rails to aid in gripping the boat, maybe a compartment for a rope, so the crew can tie themselves to the boat, maybe an automatic GPS that is included on ALL boats by law to notify the Coast Guard, maybe add a flip-out compartment that will allow the crew to sit on the bottom part of the boat. Also add a warning sticker on all boats that states exactly what that boat can handle - how far to take it into the ocean - how high of waves it can handle before flipping etc. Boat manufacturers design something to keep people safe - this is a great opportunity to improve the vehicles which transport us on fun excursions. Oh - boating safety classes should be mandatory as well. I know nothing about boats - so maybe someone of these features have been incorporated into new boats. These features should be included on ALL boats - as I'm sure the ocean does not discriminate when it decides to flip a boat.
