All Marlon McCree, veteran Chargers safety, had to do was knock the ball down. Just knock it down on fourth down, and the Chargers, the Dolphins and Cam Cameron all are better off in 2007.

Ethan - I give you credit for putting a different spin on the story and at least coming up with a different angle. Hopefully this will be the last article about Cameron. There's nothing left to analyze. As per usual the Dolphins made a catastrophic mistake when there were much better choices to be made. They screw up virtually every draft pick, so why not the head coach? I agree with Chuck. It is time to look ahead. Cameron is no longer worth discussing. I for one am far more interested to see who the new coach and staff will be, who's going to be released or traded, who's going to be signed in free agency and who will be drafted. That's the future..........enough with the idiotic past (no matter how recent).

I guess none of you understand the point of the article (even though it could have been written in one sentence). All this guy has to do on 4th down with 1:42 left in the game is knock this pass down and the Chargers take a knee and win. But instead he picks off the pass and gives it right back to the Pats by fumbling it. Brady then takes them to the endzone and the Pats win. So if this guy just knocks down the ball, Cam doesn't even come to Miami and we know everyone else in the world would have drafted the Golden Boy.
