Feel for the ex-Raiders? OK, I understand that, but then offer them a coaching position or a front office job, Al! Why should a coach take up a place on the field with a guy past his prime so Al can feel good? Al needed to step up and take t our of his OWN pocket and offer Crockett a job. Don;t get me wrong. I liked Crockett, used like old Pete Banasak for a cloud of dust and a first down or touchdown. And the "tocuhdown thief" did a great and admirable job, but Al is living in the past. Players don't show loyalty much anymore, so there are few advantages to Al's approach, but if he wants it as a philosophy, then step up and give them a paying job Al. Don't force a worst product on the field.
