Javon Walker says Denver's not a good fit

Full story: The Summit County Journal

What it boils down to at this point is I've got to go where the best fit is for me. ... And if it's not the best situation for me (in Denver), it's the best situation for Brandon Marshall. AP Photo Minnesota Vikings cornerback Marcus McCauley, right, breaks up a pass intended for Denver Broncos wide receiver Javon Walker late in the fourth quarter of the Broncos' 22-19 overtime victory in an NFL ... via The Summit County Journal

Ok, this guy is an awesome WR. Come on Chilly, wake up and jump on this. He is looking for a new home where he can be the #1 guy, we just so happen to have an open #1 spot! Rice could really learn and grow from a guy like Walker.

The first good idea of the new year.

Don't be surprised if Jevon wants to be a Patriot.

ok, but he can catch balls! It is a gamble but its getting old not having a talented WR! Anyone have the skinny on the top WR prospects in the draft?

Well, then maybe Mr Walker should look at Dallas, or how about the majorly talent loaded Patriots. Seems he felt he was too good for the Packers, that's why he left. But now that his team is sitting home in the Playoffs and his former team has a #2 seed, all of a sudden Denver's a bad fit? Maybe he'd fit in with the Bears or Vikings? I don't see him fitting in at Green Bay anymore. My sentiments to Mr Walker would be this...

I guess the grass is always greener on the other side. I just dont see him being happy anywhere unless he is the #1 guy, seems like he doesnt like competition? must have some complex or something? I would guess he is kicking himself for leaving the pack, but it looked like he better find a happy home soon or no one will want his whining azz..

Funny you should ask, I've got a few names. The first thing to recognize is that there are no sure fire dominant WRs in this draft class. All of them should go lower than 20.

Here are the names though

1st rd talent

Adarius Bowman
Malcolm Kelly
James Hardy (he's 6'6" with great hands)

2nd rd

Early Doucett
Limas Sweed
Desean Jackson (hate him, he's too small)
Mario Manningham
Andre Caldwell
Keenan Burton
Earl Bennett

Just some names to check out. There are alot of good options in rd 2-4, but not one elite guy like a Moss or Calvin Johnson.

I agree. Manningham looked pretty good but not a first round pick. I might add Javon Bess from Hawaii as a potential second or third round pick. He's very quick and has good YAC.

He wanted more money when he was under contract. Didnt like it when the truth was said he ,he had a good year in G.B.,but play out the contract after all he was coming off a very bad injury when he ask for the big pay and look what happened problems with the knee all year. I think if he is not the elite guy on his team or the one in the spot light he will not be happy anywere. His next comment i guess will be get me the ball i cant throw it to myself. I allways liked him as a player untill now what a joke

j-walk is a joke, he is like Randy Moss and TO combined, whining wise, but with half the talent. he shouild go to SF or Vikings, teams that have no real number one WR. just keep him away from the PACK... he's a cancer. as for Dallas or Patriots, no way, he will want way to much money and won't except being a number 2 WR to anyone.

he won't come out til next year. Jason Rivers is the only senior hawaii receiver, but I agree, and I like all of them.

Hawaii is a fraud as was proven last night. Georgia took it easy last night. Brennan looked like TJ.
Not sure about WR's in the draft. C. Johnson was so hyped last year before the draft but he ended getting hurt.
Forget about Walker. All he cares about is getting paid and having good stats. Could care less if the team actually wins. Broncos can't get rid of him fast enough.

The pass rush was too much for Hawaii's O line. Brady and Manning would have looked that bad behind that o line.

With the right instruction Brennan will be a good NFL QB.

Walker is not what we need in MN. He's a cancer and Childress won't have it.

Some are saying he won't get drafted now. He's being compared to the last record breaking Hawaii qb. Where is he?

Who said that?

Post a link. You can't, because no one said that.

He did hurt his draft stock alot. He'll be mid third to early 4th.

Timmy Chang couldn't hold Colt Brennan's jock.

Hawaii's offense was supposed to be quick strike and Brennan shouldn't be holding the ball for a long time. Hawaii was not a good team and Brennan is average. Vikes should sign him as a FA but not draft.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Aquarius

Be careful now, because you could easily give someone the wrong impression and not even know that you're doing it. This is most likely to happen if you're trying to pussy-foot around them or avoid offending them, because that's when things could get lost in translation. You also have a tendency to sit on the fence now, which could make you seem slightly untrustworthy or shifty if you aren't careful.
