Keep him on the bench,it's where he belongs. Gus will out perform him and give the Viks a shot in spite Chilly.

This would be a tough decision for the coach. Either sit him out during the most important preseason game (even Chilly knows he needs the practice), or do you play him and risk further injury? It will be interesting to see what he decides. I predict he doesn't play. Or if he does, he plays "vanilla" as they like to call it.

Another reason I think he should sit is he can still practice. Plus, he could learn watching Gus for a game.

He will never be healthy enough to play a full season. I think they need to make J.D. Booty the backup and fast track him to the starting position. When T-Jack goes down for the year around game 7 he will be ready for the job.

What's with people Booty, is a rookie and will be ok. Just think back in Jackson's rookie season he didn't look like much but we all saw greatness. Booty will be ok.

Yeah, he'll be okay. But not this season. No way. People who are saying he needs to start ahead of Jackson at any time this season need to get off the drugs.

And honestly, Frerotte is decent, but he's the backup for a reason. He can win us games in a pinch, but I wouldn't have him be our starter. My bet is that Jackson's going to play this Saturday. He's been getting excellent protection so far, So if we can keep him upright, no problems.

I agree Frosty, he will more than likely start, but I'll bet he doesn't use his legs as much as normal to make plays. He's looked very good so far this fall.
