Vikes O Line sucks. Hate to say it but Vikes have a better chance to win with Gus at QB.

I thought that the left tackles, Hicks and Johnson, played well enough. In my mind the biggest problem is the lack of imagination in the play calling (the so called KAO). The vikings are way too predictable on offense and generally do not throw the ball downfield enough. Jackson is an exceptional runner, but lacks accuracy on all throws, especially deep balls.

It is just one game, however. Better days will come and in the end the Vikings will still have a good shot at the playoffs. Hopefully they will open up the offense first.

The Vikings suck! Either the Head Coach or the quarterback or both should be fired!!! The offense is too conservative and don't take risk. At some point this team need to bring out the big guns. Every year its the same ole thing with this team. Spending a lot of money on players that underachieve? The tight end is avoiding hits, the secondary is soft or don't care about coverage, and the receivers can't get open, therefore, allowing the opposing team secondary to get away with murder, don't expect the officials to bail you out, instead make plays and make the officials make calls. Come on Vikings, play above and beyond, you can't expect Adrian Peterson to carry this entire team, he won't last through the remaining fifteen games, his career will be cut short if the team don't play up to expectations and carry their load.

I can't believe what I heard last night!!
TJ out of the shotgun ... to pass ... ON 3RD AND ONE!... with big guns, Peterson and Taylor in back (not being utilized for this very important conversion)!
What a stupid, nutty call! I caught the stupidity of this call at the same time the Packers radio announcers did. This time I would agree with them.

TJack did not have his best game by far but he is not the reason why they lost. He had very little time to set up to get a nice pass away because the line was letting everyone through. I know this because he had 65 yards scrambling for his life. Algore why dont you go play in the middle of the street where a vehicle with a internal combustion engine can take you out the way you should go. Hopefully it will have a Hemi in it!

Of all the players on the field for the Vikes, he was the number one reason they lost. We must have been watching different games. Play calling and the play of both lines were the other main reasons; no protection from the Offensive Line and absolutely no Pressure from the D-Line.

POS, what f*cking game did you watch? TJ actually played pretty well, its just too bad that our bum recievers can't get open consistently. He was patient enough to allow this to happen, and yet nothing. Either the packers are the best at getting away with holding and jamming recievers or we have the weakest 3 in the league. Our play call was suspect all game, and our defense disappointed me as expected. Where was the pressure? We blitzed maybe 10% of time, why? We are playing a first year starting qb, make him nervous, hit him, get him dirty...yet we faked the blitz more than we came with it. Our coaches look like sometimes they have no clue. 3rd and 1 and we are in the shotgun? WTF??? Give it to your best player. I saw no swing passes to Chester or Adrian...and we tried 2 screens all game. I'd like to say hey look at Jackson's numbers 16-35...and say he sucks, but he played well. That last pass may have not even been his fault, it looked like it got away from him and Shiancoe (who is a huge bust) stopped his route. Either way, we are no-where near superbowl contenders. Want to see what one looks like? Watch the Cowboys/Eagles game next Monday night.

Lets hope for our sake the coaches watch game film of how the Bears Defense attacked Peyton Manning and the colts offense or its 0-2 for us. If we don't blitz more than we did on Monday night, its going to be a long afternoon on Sunday. We made Aaron Rodgers look like a savvy veteran, what will Manning do? 350 yards and 3 tds, you heard it here. This team makes me sick year after year, I'm starting to wonder why I do this to myself. Is it too much to ask for a good defensive coordinator? Sharper showed his age last night, he looked slow and clueless. He was the reason for Ryan Grants 57 yard run that closed out the game for us. Watch the tape.

The negative ninnys need to smoke a big spleef, chill out and learn something about football. Packer and Viking O and D lines both ways match up pretty well, except for our left tackle currently. Allen had probably his toughest matchup he will see all year. If Berrian hadn't gone down on that lucky shoestring tackle, we would have nothing to talk about this morning. Not to mention that bad call on 3rd down interference, and if that td pass from Rodgers falling down wasn't lucky, I don't know what is. Green Bay defense is nothing to sneeze at either.

It's tough to explain why the offence looks the same three years after Childress took over considering the new personnel... oh that's right Childress is the common factor. I said from the first game three years ago he was a bonehead and I contuinue to say it today. After spending $80 million Zigi should read the riot act to him and put him on a short leash. Nothing less than a 2-2 start is acceptable and if he can't go .500 with this team over 4 games he should be physically booted out of his office.

Actually, its the Kick-OUR-Ass offense.

Its designed to play not-to-lose.

However..........if the team gets behind by three or more, the game is over.

OK, Vike fans, Chilly fans, let 'er rip. Especially, you, Mr Vegas......and JD..........

Defend, deflect, protect Chilly and TJack. But the fact is....as SOON AS THEY ARE GONE, THINGS GET BETTER.

(TJack.....negative 1 yards passing in the first half). KickAss, Indeed.

I watched the Packer / Viking game on ESPN last night. You and I are going to have to disagree about TJack, I thought he totally stunk up the place again. But I do agree with the non-TJACK related points in your post.

"Allen had probably his toughest matchup all year"... It wasn't even close. Allen had ZERO tackles until the closing minutes of the game. He hardly got near the QB and didn't apply any real pressure; and wasn't near a lot of the run plays. If it wasn't for Greenway covering his back on the run it would have been real ugly. I think he was out of shape and not game ready. He needs to make up a lot of ground to justify his contract.

I object! Being negative is one thing ... being realistic and hoping for change is another. As I and several said here: play calling (3rd & 1 and use the the shotgun?!), consistently inaccurate passes (when receiver is WIDE OPEN!- Where's Frerotte?), missed tackles, a receiver who is only 5'-10" who is always tightly covered, etc.

I hope this is Childress's last year. I want a team I can be proud of in the face of my Packer-fan coworkers.

On the positive side - At least it wasn't 34-0!
